Parents Can Help Prevent Problem Drinking in College Kids

I think only govt can prevent parent can not do anything because child do all things chori chori chupke chupke

I am surprised to see the article.Are these students called college going kids?

Parents can only advise college going children. They may give only small pocket money to children just for buying books and stationary or petty expenses. The more affluent give lavish pocket money to children. This leads to drinking habit.

Too strict and authoritarian approach restrains only till the children are not self dependent. I know of strict parents who managed that children never take non veg food, smoke or drink. But the children got accustomed to all these vices after getting self dependent. Persuasive parents as well as teachers may make an everlasting influence that will guide the children throughout life.

Those who were in strict atmosphere are suddely loosened on entering the college life.So an explosion will take place which is always with negative energy.

when parents gave the good knowledge to it's child then kids can't do this type of bad habit

I think parents really have to give their children a healthy and open to express thought environment at home, so that they don't get involve in any such activities...

Its not possible for the parents, parents can only advise, sold , and try tricks to prevent them from drinking, may government can help the students by imposing few rules

Nowadays parents and children are sitting together to drink at special occations!
