College students lost their life giving importance to "Selfie"

This is not new, often we get to hear something like this. Photography, FB, sn selfies have taken awya the joy of enjoying anything anymore. People are more interested in capturing the photo for getting likes rather than enjoying anything. This is an unfortunate incident indeed.

I can't say it is a unfortunate incident. We get to hear something like this because of negligence. Likes are not more important than "Life".

Craze towards anything new is the reason for this malady. A dozen or so accidents like this will make the people awaken. And eventually  this craze dies a natura death.

New generation is running after the comfort and convenience of new technology and they are not at all conscious about the negative side, thus resulting in such mishaps. Learning from mistakes is fine, but learning from losing life is lamentable.

There are many adventorous youth. This includes adventure of  bike stunts. A few years back,  son of one of my friends lost his life in such stunt. There is wel known advice- speed thrills but kills.

 Youth are generally adamant type and take life as a thrill irrespective of such dangers. Proper guidance and advice from responsible persons from their family may produce some effect in changing their attitude towards life.

Youth, old, all age groups have been affected by the selfie fever. It is the changing times that is to be blamed. 

It all depends on the person concerned. Using selfie is not forced on somebody. One can stop becoming prey to such things with determination.

It may not be unfortunate for you but think about their parents...losing life for no reason can be so depressing.

I agree with you. Though its a foolish deed of the college student it's a mental blow for the parents.

Also, the fourth boy who narrowly escaped death will be the target of every parent. How did he escape and so on. Although all of them were equally responsible for this act.

True. the surviving member will be targeted with all sorts of questions which is an unbearable torture.

Also the guy who survived will shudder to take a selfie or a photo again all his life if he is a real and sensitive human being.
