  Now it is ofence to send miss calls to women. Personally I dislike such calls. But I receive miss calls from my close lady friend. She expects me to call her after receiving the call. I'm helpless. I have to tolerate her miss calls and dare not avoid ringing her back.

Its great to read that at least Bihar police have taken the missed calls menace seriously. The missed calls can be very irritating whether they are given by strangers or acquaintances.

Yes, true...missed calls can be irritating..esp at an odd hour.

Any call by a stranger that too from an unknown man to a woman causes irritation, especially during odd hours.

I have read this topic only today.  It is indeed a nuisance in Bihar.  When I lived in Ranchi for a short while, I used to receive some calls from strangers, particularly women.  Once I picked up the phone, they would say wrong number but ask for further details about me.

I have also heard some similar stories from men. The best thing is to avoid attending to any missed call, as we might land up in some trouble or the other, in Bihar.
