Why April 1st is celebrated as 'Fool's day' ?

April 1st was celebrated as New year day during the period where Julian calendar was followed.

When the gregorian calendar replaced the old julian calendar,new year celebration was changed to January 1st.

Some people who don't like this change or unaware of this continued to celebrate new year on April 1st.Other people were making fun of these people by telling them false information. This is how the fun has started.

It is wisdom that destroyed the nature and happiness. Adam and Eve lived happily in the Garden of Eden. They were ignorant. Satan persuaded them to eat a fruit- fruit of knowledge. They ate the fruit, that gave them knowledge. If they had not got the knowledge and passed it on from generation to generation, all would still be living in Garden of Eden happily. Knowledge has guided mankind to destroy nature and environment and live unnaturally. The April fools message is clear- Let us shed artificial wisdom and go back to nature.
