There are some signs that shows your boss is terrible. It is a very dreadful experience to work under a terrible boss. If you have a terrible boss at office and dreadful spouse at home, your life is a total hell.

No boss is terrible if one is a good worker. Even the boss feels afraid if the employee knows his job. Better still if you know you know the way your boss prefers a job done, then the matter becomes too easy to handle.

I had served under such a boss. He was a victim of inferiority complex. Because he doesn't have an idea about my work. So, with one pretext or other, he made it a practice to blame me every time. Realizing his weakness, I never tried to help him by explaining my work. Rather, I made my work look more complex, subjecting him to more inferiority complex. Thus I became a terrible to him.

You got away because you were in public sector but don't expect the same if it was for private sector.

Na. It worked even in private sector. Because private sector bosses are result oriented. They are concerned with my indispensable factor. Not with their personal egos.

I worked only in private sector and never made any issues if my juniors wanted to chip in with their ideas. That was good for our organization and for me as well because I was the one who got the credit in the end.

Private or public, if you prove your mettle in your field nobody can become Terrible to you.

That's how I reached to the top. There is no other way.

That's an undeniable truth. I didn't reach the top, but everybody felt the vacuum that was created when I left.

An outstanding worker is an asset to every organization whose work is always appreciate even after he must leave.
