That’s the irony. Victims are harassed and the offenders roam Scot free. Owing to this reason majority of rape victims refuse to lodge a complaint with the police. In a hit and run case, I intervened and took the victim to the hospital. The doctors refused to treat without the FIR. When the bleeding victim was taken to the PS, the SHO said, the place of accident was not in their jurisdiction. For the same reason, no sane citizen willingly cooperate with the police, nor go to a police station for lodging a complaint.

It is not easy to change mentality in some moments. it is better to educate girls.
