Changing job is certainly a risk one must assure certain things before quiting a job otherwise it may be a problem afterwards some times people do that when they get a lucrative offer and repent in few days.
If one is efficient and qualified for a new job there should be no need to be afraid of.
I agree with you Sunil. I left a very lucrative Job. Before resigning all my friends and well wishers repeatedly warned me for what they thought was i was committing a Harakiri.
I left with confidence
I not only proved my friends wrong, but also excelled the expectations of my new employers.
Confidence creates miracles.
"Confidence creates miracles." nice quote, a lot of meanings :)
This thread only cautions. This says- just think- if you feel that you can take risk okay

It takes a lot of self confidence and determination to quit jobs which is not possible for every one.
I agree with you Suni.. As that person need to search for another job, so without confident it can be worse condition.
You are right but I did mean a little different. I wanted to say if a person is competent he would never be afraid of leaving a job for better opportunity.
But to have an oppotunity in hand is always better as that would be a total risk when someone don't have job and decide to quit a job I have an experience of the same when I had to stay at home for around 1 month without a job the good thing was I was unmarried and came back to my parents may be if I had been married I would not have taken that sort of risk.
