AC room though provide cool atmosphere it can dry your skin easily make it easy for aging attacks. :silly:
So dry skinned people should take proper precautions if they need to sit in AC rooms continuously for hours :evil:

Air condition is now essential now but remaining all time in AC is not good as sometimes we have to go out side.

This is because of different reasons, deficiency of vitamin D, Lack of activities and intake of junk food in place of natural foods. Also the life style and food habits are big reasons.

The discussion seems to have been misunderstood by many!! The discussion is about rising cases of osteoporosis in young people and not ill effects of AC. It is just one of the reasons, not the cause for discussion here!!

Back to topic, yes the major changes in lifestyles and food habits is the culprit for such incidences, also intake of proper calcium during formative years is the reason for this.

I think t is basically because of improper food habits which have long lasting effect.It is very essential that children are fed the right kind of balanced meals and also made aware of the fact, how important it is to stay away from junk food. The main reason for osteoporosis is the brittleness and weakness in bones and joints which can only be due to poor dietary habits..

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

In Kolkata many varieties of fishes are available. Every fish contains some kind of vitamin, protein and other important items necessary for our body. I would suggest that people should have different types of fishes in meals.
Everyone should indulge in any one of outdoor exercises/games.. let it be of any kind.. just spenting some time in park or something.. we know sunlight provides Vitamin-D.. to an extent we can prevent osteoporosis..

Air Conditioners is not so good for our health. We need fresh air, So, we must go for morning walk at least for half hour.

Wrong life styles, erratic food habits especially junk food are some of the reasons for this malady prevalent in the youth.
