Of course, this is his personal comment but let everyone know the thought process of team anna including anna. They aim at reforming everything but have no elementary idea about simple thing like what death penalty us for.

With due respect every one has his/her say if we have to run this democracy. Why should be go one-sided. At least we should let them have them their say in to the matter as long as not acting otherwise/against the law.

Look, his comments can be explained in so many ways.After all he is not known for his lingual proficiency or legal expertise. He is simply stating his views with a sense of frustration arising out of little progress being made on the front of fighting corruption. What we hear is nothing but verbal jugglery and the issue he has raised is real which has the approval of a substantial section of our people!

You said more expertly what I said in layman's language. same is the case with Anna and his targets. That makes a big difference being an expert and layman, isn't it?

Let us attach more importance to his more substantive stand than his peripheral comments!

But politicians are taking shelter behind technicalities to save themselves. None has yet said that there exists a problem of black money in this country.

I personally feel the apologetic faces of our politicians today on this issue are deceptive and they are one defensive because of Anna movement!

That's why there should be a very strong,sustained popular movement against them. Never believe them - they believe it's their birth right to deceive the people to make India their happy-hunting -ground since Independnece!

There is no reason to defend these people just because they are members of legislative houses. They charges against them who have surfaced as clear criminals must be framed and tried immediately in open courts.

I agree, I too am thoroughly confused about their intentions, probably the team too is not sure what they want to do nor how to go about it...A real circus :dry:

If Anna is breaking laws what stops this feckless government from acting firmly against him! We all know what could be the possible reason!

There is no end to keep on discussing about negative and positive points, who is wrong who is right, but ultimately the question of corruption and lawlessness that must be priority of this government is left/buried somewhere in between all this. I think Anna is being treated on the lines of Gandhi by the British, probably worse.

No need to compare! We have to judge the positives as well as the negatives of the respective parties to form a judgment! And I am of the view as I stated it many times - that Anna Hazare has more positives than his opponents!

It is important to note here that the corrupt politicians cutting across all party lines have tried all tricks to assassinate his character and even showed rare unity on the floor of parliament in launching blistering attacks on him but the issue he has raised,seems to make them behave like 'haunted' persons! Each move has backfired upon them!
