Anna and his team both are comical characters. I wonder how much anna knows about capital punishment in India. His latest outburst is that Singvi should be hanged if he is guilty.
Sungvi is definitely not accused of murder or mutiny for which he could be hanged.
It may be his personal comment, but Court will decide about punishment.
Of course, this is his personal comment but let everyone know the thought process of team anna including anna. They aim at reforming everything but have no elementary idea about simple thing like what death penalty us for.

With due respect every one has his/her say if we have to run this democracy. Why should be go one-sided. At least we should let them have them their say in to the matter as long as not acting otherwise/against the law.

Look, his comments can be explained in so many ways.After all he is not known for his lingual proficiency or legal expertise. He is simply stating his views with a sense of frustration arising out of little progress being made on the front of fighting corruption. What we hear is nothing but verbal jugglery and the issue he has raised is real which has the approval of a substantial section of our people!

They have a very tough skin to make any impact with such minor pinches. They need an immediate dose of some more corrective. Even lokpal is not sufficient, they will find loopholes in that.
