The journalists act very irresponsibly even in matter like reporting court proceedings. The Apex court has advised them to remain in limit. Freedom of expression is for people and not press.

    I guess this is going to create more problems. Now they shall have to chalk out the limits. There are so many loop holes while implementing the law.

    When you misuse any rights, the consequences will be bad. The media often encourages sensational news and promotes anarchy out of proportion. The media is very irresponsible. So, this needs be checked.

    hope that this will now improve the quality of media as it has alreay degraded.if this rule should have been implemented earlier then it would have been much better.

    There should be self regulatory body. The media are also not anti national. But there are some black sheep. The best way is for leading personalities in media to evolve a code of conduct and weed out superstitious and vulgar content. There should be censor by the self regulatory body.
