RBI has advised everyone not to write anything on the notes...such notes cannot be used for any official uses... you wont see such a note from the ATMs


Paper is meant for writing. People should use paper and not currency notes.
It's one of those despicable habits which many find difficult to free themselves!! No agency can stop it unless those who indulge in it realise that it's something very ugly!
Nice information .This is a bad habit and I have seen that most of bank cashiers do this.

Because it is not easy to keep track of it and people tend to overlook this rule as long as notes are floating in the market with ease.

Yes, people should be punished for violating rules. You will not find such behaviors by the residents living in other developed countries like US.
I watch this with great disgust and dismay while visiting the offices of the governments!
This is a bad practice writing with pen but pencil can be used.Is it right?
