thanks for sharing this news . however i never used to write anything on notes but now i will recommend others to not to write anything on notes.

Personally I strongly dislike the writing on currency notes. But most people will never mend themselves.

One should use paper to write anything and not currency notes. One should understand the purpose and use of currency note that it is used for exchanging goods and not writing phone number or your name on it.

Yes, people should be punished for violating rules. You will not find such behaviors by the residents living in other developed countries like US.
