To me, it appears that sheer individualism and lack of community or national spirit is cause of many ills- dowry, corruption, female foeticide etc. The individuals have lure for male child because of orthodox beliefs and dowry system. They little realize that proper ale- female ratio is necessary. We need boys and girls equally.
