Women have the right to choose their dress. Dress is no cause for molestation and rape. Slut walk to present women's freedom to chhose their own style is an international event. A Japanese Police man's comments on a woman's dress gave rise to such demonstration.

The slut walk will be called Besharmi Morcha in India

yes these types of protests must be encouraged
Yes,that's right.Really, wearing a short skirt is not an excuse for rape.
Good comment Pradeep. If dress caused rape, women in villages and home wearing full dress would not be raped. In fact, girls in Jeans and skirts are feared and many would not even dare to touch them. It is sari clad girls who are considered timid and subjected to harassment.

I hope they attain their purpose of the walk. It is the Delhi police that should be ashamed of the fact that these women had to resort to such type of demonstration to get their attention.

Hundreds marched in Besharmi Morcha. This was more sober and decent than that in other countries. The women were dressed in saris or jeans. Many men also marched. The theme was that women are equals and not just object for lust.
