Posting in mismatched category
in Daily Dose
I had posted many threads with mismatched category as it is not cared in the new look of website.So my humble request is to change the default category as "general discussion" or make it to the old form again.I saw some other members are also posted so.

    I feel no difficulty in new format. The category 'announcement' of any other category that the last post related appears. If the new thread differs, correct category should be changed to before submitting. The new format appears more user friendly.

    I also think the "general discussion" category can be made default or else there can be option for correcting the category after submitting.

    Yes, new formate is bit difficult to understand. old formate is best one.

    I always notice that the category had changed only after posting the thread.But there is no way to edit then.

    Abid, it may be difficult for you in the beginning but you will find it more useful once you find the trick. In the old format you would not have the option to select the category but you can do it now.

    Choosing general as default is not the solution as everyone cannot discuss on same category for every discussion.

    Also, if you want to change your posting category, please do let any moderator know about it. or you can report to me, atul or directly to support team. So all these options are infront of you :) .

    Ok, thanks for the information.Now one more doubt.Earlier when we go to categories like Contests we were able to see all the contests.Yesterday to start a new GD I looked whether one had started and sunk in.But it was not possible to locate it easily.Can you suggest a method?
