Sonia Gandhi advises the aged to retire gracefully from politics little realizing that she is also now 64 and should also follow what she preaches.

why dont sonia clearly says " when will my son become prime minister ? at the age of 80 ?"
Its a good age to retire and she should retire now............
That's funny to say the least!! These days she has been saying so many things without meaning anything!!!
She seems to think she is still young! Not only does she need to retire, but rahul Gandhi too should back out, he has no sense or feel of the real issues and is only out creating farces!

I think not only the old and corrupt should be banished from politics but those who suffer from infantile disorder should be made to quit!

Chinmoy, I liked the term Infantile disorder that you have used! It perfectly describes these people who refuse to grow up!

I am totally agreed with Sonia Gandhi . Because new people should be given chance . There is a need for a drastic change in our political system . I think if the young generation will take active part in politics something new can come out .

Neither old nor young need chance. The nation needs chance. The nation needs services of all able bodied and mentally alert individuals irrespective of age. The young are already participating in politics. But these young are just successors to the veteran politicians like Rajeev Gandhi, Madhav Rao Scindia, Mulayam singh etc. In the name of young generation, only the sons and daughters of influential politicians are promoted.

Let her walk the talk! Now she is complaining about power hungry leaders in her own party. What has stopped her from getting rid of these leaders.Sincerity is not her strong virtue!!!
She may be ready to retire. But the party men may not allow. What she put forward is a nice suggestion.
