    Here is one of my experience.In a recent trucking we about 70 people passed very near , just a feet away to a viper, twice.It didn't move from its position at all!!

    I think Hindus worship snake.But in a poster of a temple fest I found a programme named Snake sacrifice.How it can be in a temple?

    Our elder tought us from child hood that snake is dangerous , so that fear is feeded in our subconscious mind.So when we see a snake we will be fear of it.

    Slow and Steady Wins the Race.

    But a sudden scene only fears us.If it is crawling far away we feel nothing.
