Welcome back to another big contest on Boddunan - BBL-5.
Here is the topic for this episode.

Respective categories and sub-categories are already created on the articles section.
Reward: 1000 Cash Credits
with additional 500 cash credits for exceptional performance, if any, as decided by the administrator. Number of articles are not a criteria for it, though it has significant importance.
Fact: You will earn minimum of 136 per article on conservative terms if you win this contest, maximum will depend on your articles quality.
Cut-off Dates:
Article Writing: 15th Jan 2013 - 31st Jan 2013 (inclusive of the dates)
Send Nominations: Before 3rd Feb 2013
Winner Announcement: On or before 5th Feb, 2013
I would like to ask your help to complete the description of the main category and its sub categories. Your help is much appreciated (please do not post the category descriptions from other websites, we would like to be unique).
Rules:
1. Those who participated and won in 1-4 need not worry about your eligibility unless you did some mischievous things in last few days ;) .
2. Minimum 500 cash credits earned through article writing on or before 14th Jan 2013.
3. Minimum 10 articles on the above subjects with
a. minimum 30 cash credits for at least 7 articles
b. minimum 50 cash credits for at least 3 articles
4. No grammatical mistakes should present
5. Copycats are not allowed - even have a history of single copied article in last 3 months.
6. Articles should be well formatted. You can use images, but not too many. Usually maximum 3-5 images sufficient for any article with some exceptions. No copy-protected images allowed. If found, article will be unpublished immediately and you will no longer eligible for the contest.
7. Each article should concentrates on a specific topic/sub-topic with maximum coverage.
8. Articles with grammatical mistakes are not considered even if they earn required CC.
Please do not ask about your eligibility on this post, if you do not know you are eligible or not after reading above, you can treat yourself as ineligible.

Its really a surprise how this article is approved. As that heading itself is a big blunder. Instead of ' TIPS it was written IIPS.
Even I don't feel it to be a blunder though heading of an article is important one should double check it before submitting articles. :blink:
I don't think that anyone makes such mistake intentionally. But human errors in writing and editing sometime occur. It is okay to point out such mistake. When the mistake comes to notice, this should be corrected by author, editor or administration. Personally, I always correct my mistake even in forum posts whenever I detect this.
And that is the best way. Even I do that whenever I notice that I have committed a mistake on forums or anywhere. :)

I have noticed many such simple mistakes in my published articles...but never its title, as I take a lot of time to add an impressive title.
i often feel sad too, with my silly mistakes...sometimes, a single misplaced letter changes the meaning a lot. it's a tedious process to edit and resubmit it. so, i simply leave it. but once, I have edited an article seeking admin's permission in my 'grand mother' article. I misplaced hibiscus flowers with coconut flowers while giving the secret preparation of her hair oil ;)
you can try with coconut flowers too, perhaps it gives better results than hibiscus flowers ;) :laugh: :laugh:

But from those two I expected at least Rs 50 each but credited less.Though those are with over 1000 words. Now to get 50 writing 2000 words is quite tough for me. as I am not so good writer. If possible admin. Please take care.

Winning or losing is different at least you particpated in the contest that makes a difference there are many users too here who are eligible to participate in the contest but did not particpate. There is still few days left you can write few more articles. Try to write something unique that would fetch you more CC. :)

am on leave for 2-3 days from tomorrow evening...
now I need to run a maraton run to complete the target....
so, never feel down, all participating members are feeling the same. just complete it....now also one week left.
Perhaps I am out of BBL-5. I submitted 5 articles out of which two approved finally. Three are still pending. Thank you Sanjeev but I submitted some with a great effort, if I knew this that to get Rs 50 I had to write 1500 word then I tried fom first day. I heva seen also after writing more than 3000 words Rs 110 credited, Do you not think this is less money?

I don't know why you think that writing more words would get you more cc. Write within 1500 words but write some quality content and have something unique subject you woould definitely get more CC. :)
I too correct my typo errors whenever I notice them as this is only human to make mistakes and when we have editing facility why not use it!

I too am way behind and shall be out for couple of days from 28th although would be doing my job through my netbook. NO article writing though.

I bet you you will get the same <50 cc even if you write 3k words. Please change your mind, concentrate on your grammar, write good content and 1k word article will give you 100cc. all the best.Perhaps I am out of BBL-5.
