Test your skills with Rangoli contest by submitting your entry. Take a picture of Rangoli made by you and submit here.

Rules:
1) The Rangoli must be self prepared or an already prepared one can be submitted.

2) Last date for submission is "31th Oct 2011, Midnight"

3) Add your username at the bottom of the image.

4) The material used for Rangoli should also be submitted along with the picture.If contestant do not provide the details there will be negative points.

5) All the photos uploaded should be in good quality and it is better to submit in full resolution rather than compressed one.

10-20 top designs will be shortlisted and enters to the final selection. Each shortlisted entry will receive 100 points.

Winner: 75 cash credits
Runner: 50 cash credits

A poll is conducted to decide the winner.

This is nice contest even i dont know the rangoli i will try my level best to participate in this programme.

We do not put Rangoli during Deewali.Instead during Onam we put it by flowers.Can I submit it?

Can one member can submit multiple photos of rangoli ?
So,here i go to submit my first Rangoli picture. Its been made by my sister.
Details :- Here,as we see in the picture,two women are there,who are bursting fire crackers.
The rangoli is made by using different- different color.
The main material used is Gulal,of different colors.

I have a suggestion, since Diwali celebrations are on till 28th, why can't the rangoli contest be extended upto 29th! Since we put up different rangolis every day, it will give time for us to select the best ones and post in the contest!
I also support the idea of Kalyani.All the contests have to be extended to ensure maximum entries.

Here is the flower rangoli we usually put during ONAM.

Components of this rangoli are different types of flowers and leaves.Usually flowers from our own premises were used.But now there is no time to collect them.So we purchase from flower stalls.Sitting nearby is my second child.
