I think the media is what it is made to be and broadly it reflects the mirror image of a society. How can we shirk our responsibility as a vital stakeholder. We can not be criticizing and watching a particularly lousy program.

Children demand full attention to them by their parents. Parents are expected to set aside all their woes and travails and become a child along with their children.

Very true. Sensationalism is the staple food on which media thrives, flourishes and lives. In this process Media goes to any extent and stoops and kicks off its moral standards.

Somewhere I read It was  mentioned that sensationalism Is like junk food. People enjoy It Inspite of the  fact that It is not  beneficial In any way .....and media Is happily cashing In on what sells. Having said that, I feel that the media has come a long way  from the time when news readers just used to read out the happenings around the world with small clips every now and then. Now every news including the sensational stuff stuff Is detailed and elaborate. Barkha Dutt covering Kargil war unimaginable. In fact I think even little things like covering the auto show with interaction with common people are great to watch. The nirbhaya case as mentioned earlier by Usha would really not have got its due without the media...so, one has to accept sensationalism since It has been there since a long time..even newspaper headlines have always tried to attract readers.

Media is a business enterprise whose function is to make people aware of what is happening around. it is just a mediator between the actions and the actors. It brings the facts and if necessary adds some salt and pepper to exploit the weakness of the people. You have to taste it and make your own analysis based on your conscience. And money is the ultimate motive of all business establishments without which nobody can survive.

Life is a drama of endless episodes and world is the stage. We are the actors and we are the audience. We have to play our roles depending on the situations. We do it naturally.  And, there is no rehearsal…..

There are a different kind of parents. They direct their ire on the children, when they have some problems related to work in the office

I don't have a punching bag. That's why I'll simply walk away from the scene. A change of scene  me.

Sure, I always find ot a punching bag and keep hitting it until I cool down. That keeps my BP unfer control. I am on a mobile so this answer would be short.

Of course that is understood, it is the same for mothers as well..they are different at their work place and once they are home they become wives and mothers ...

Finding an outlet to vent up may be of use some occasions. This may leave disastrous results by the time you cool down. It will be too late by then for repairing the the situation. In my opinion, indulging in some activity that helps in diverting your mind will be of great help.

I suggest when you are angry acknowledge your emotion and then determine its source. if you find it is based on a bad of your own behavior try to remain calm and cool. I know most of us do not have control of many situations, in that case we can choose how to keep things under control. As far I am concerned I feel frustrated if not let the anger out of my system even if I have to do it hitting with my punching bag. Anger can kill you if it does not find an outlet.

A very wise advise.. Anger makes you lose your balance. In that moment everything within your vicinity irritates you and you feel all around you are against you. And this is where you should leave the place and sit calmly in a place till you gain back your balance. Or another alternative is to divert your mind and resort to some kind of another activity. This helps you. Don't commit the mistake of taking an important decision at this moment.

It always happen in my case, that when someone makes me angry i am not able to concentrate on the work. Many times it has happened to me in class and then the whole day it takes for me to recover from that. I don't know how suddenly my mind completely goes to some different stage and things keep on revolving in my mind. I am not able to able to take any step further, till someone comes and make me laugh or divert my mind. If you are also facing such situations or circumstances then my advice to them would be to try as soon as possible to talk with friends or anyone about anything other than the situation you are facing . It works for me and i hope it could for you all too.
