The government and the Chief Minister seems to have funds for everything including sending the MLAs on foreign trips twice in a row but when it comes to farmers and their woes they have little sympathy and time .The "High Command" gives lip sympathy from time to time .There have been the highest number of suicide rates in the state last month ...But CM Siddaramaiah has still not woken up and evades questions ..

Absolutely ! It is made out to be a case of national importance when it is just another murder for greed case like so many others ...Honestly I am sick of it ! I read about this case yesterday through a link sent to me...Incidentally in our state every single day at least two or three farmers are committing suicide but the CM and the people concerned have done nothing and are busy with their own politicking . Neither is This such a serious issue reported anywhere in the national news .

For such crimes the Shariat law should be applied. similar treatment with loss of a limb should be given to the ones who have committed such crimes. Poison kills poison.

The initiatives are welcome. As @Suni51 has said the "articles" section also needs to be visited. The payment for articles should be higher than at present because of the labour one has to put in compared to other activities of the forum. Decent payment will attract better writers and can become a attractive feature of Boddunan.

Anarchy is a response to extreme suppression by the oppressed. However the Indian oppressed have tremendous tolerance. They have been subjected to exploitation forgenerations and their energy tofight back is totally finished. I concur with @ Kalyani's above post. I have also seen in Eastern UP how the contractors in connivance with officials exploit extremely poor tribals even sexually. They are treated worsethan animals. Yet it is strange that relatively well off Patels / Gurjars / Jats / Maratthas want resevation. In fact reservation should for the downtrodden SC, ST & physically handicapped and the young jawans who retire in their thirties and are a discilined and trained resource. It is such class which should rise for its rights and not the already privileged Anarchy fromm such groups will result in improvement.

It is not a unique ceremony as similar one happens on the Indo Bangladesh border also. however because of animosity with Pakistan the Wagah ceremony has passion, patriotism and vigour in it. Bollywood is loved on both sides and gives opportunity to public also to participate and vent our anger.

I am not sure of the success but I now feel looking back that all election manifestos are nothing but jumlas eventually.

The Congress of yesterday is not the Congress of today and the BJP of today is not the BJP of yesterday. The lofty ideals of earlier Congress have got diluted. The hard Hindutava of BJP is giving way to soft Hindutava. Spoils of power in one case and compulsions of power in another case.
