We do our professional work on result orinetation. we also expect adequate compensation for our work. There is no question of working without remuneration. But we perform charitable work without reward. rather we spend. also certain actions are for enjoyment and not monetary gains. You go on picnic, go to a pub or on pilgrimage. Here also you get nothing material but just satsisfy yourself.

Yes, I agree with you completely. My first article is yet to be published and so I am not submitting a new one though I have already written it. I am simply waiting for the final say of the admin.

Your friend' father is an ideal and exemplary lawyer who fought for justice and succeeded. The very fact the Govt. has appointed him speaks of his integrity. My question is how many such honest lawyers are there ? Most of the lawyers help in mutilating the facts and misguiding the courts.

Some have rightly questioned why Tamil only should represent south. I feel that Tamil is most significant language of south. My idea is that Hindi is from North and Tamil from south.  There are many other languages in North also apart from various variants of Hindi itself.  There can be a consensus on Hindi of North and Tamil of south. If no consnsus, better to avoid making any language as national.  Let all Indianlanguages be consideredas national. any wayEnglish and Hindi are central govt oficial languages.

Rightly commented by Sunny that legalprssional goes by rule book. My view is that a legal professional has to give full legal support to his client. He has to present case of his client in best possible way to help him. But in the process, lawyershould not try to comit any fraudulent avt himself like forging documents.  The lawyer's job is not only to prove that he is not guilty. even when proved guilty, he will try to minimize the punishment.  It is also lawyers' moral responsibility to help poor litigants who have no or less money. In these caes, many lawyers give free services. Also in deserving cases, court appoints lawyersfor the accused. Such lawyer gets fee from govt. at prescribed rate. One of my friend's father is a reputed criminal law advocate. Once he was appoited by court in a murder case. In such cases, fee given by govt. is not more. But he worked wholeheartedly and the accused was honorably acquitted. Needless to say that the accused's family voluntarily gave some gift to him.

For anything to succeed Government and People should join hands and work in tandem. otherwise, it will be an exercise in futility.

Once again, I must appreciate your comment and one more time I would say that there is no denial to the fact that corruption has made a deep inroad in our society. It's very true and one lawyer or one doctor or one teacher and so on will not be able to stop this social menace. It has to have a joint effort but still I would love to comment that a judge would also have no option than punishing the main culprit if the hardcore culprits are not defended at all in the courtroom.

There are such cases, where lawyers did not agree to defend the criminals. But how many such lawyers are there?

Im not asking for trouble. I said in the context of language rivalries. Just now I heard the news that usage of Telugu has been abolished in TN.   now tell me how one can think of national language?

This is what I am saying that when a lawyer knowingly defends a culprit then he /she lacks morality. I am not saying that everyone is a criminal and they should not get any lawyer to defend them. See the case of Salman khan and this Sheena Bora case, the lawyer who fought for the culprits of Nirbhaya case and many more.

Easier said than done. When the judges  themselves are corrupt, where from the possibilities of erasing the corruption arises? It's a vicious circle. The same thing applies to the Doctors. There is a nexus between Medical profession and drug companies .  The reality is Corruption has become an integral part of life. It's deeply rooted in every sphere of our lives.

In every way I agree with you. Morality must start from family and it must lead to each and every corner of the human world. There is no denying to it. I highlighted this profession only because it gives the right to the professionals to accept or reject the clients. If they show some wisdom then criminals will also think twice before committing crime because then they would be forced to feel the crisis of defence.

Some of the accused are in fact not criminals so the need to be protected too. In case you refuse to fight their case you are judging them before the trial itself. The only thing a lawyer should refrain is that he should not present wrong proofs or present wrong witnesses to protect an accused knowingly. That is against the ethics of any profession.
