We cannot expect people to behave in a set pattern, the other person have his own way..When two people meet, which is what you mentioned , anybody can start the conversation , even if one of them was trying to say something, if the other person has something he or she believes is important to both, there is no harm in blurting it out, it is but natural ..

I can understand about those parents who are employed.. But, there are Mothers who stay at home and fathers who do shift duties can do a great job of imparting some necessary stuff which are not taught in schools like as you said, conversational skills, GK etc by taking turns..

Parents should give some time to their kids rather sending them for tuition. As parents can teach more apart from what written in books, they can the behavior, way of talking and many more so that their kids will leave a proper life, but these days the number of marks in marksheets are given more value than the nature and behavior of the student. And for more marks people find the option as tuition.

I sincerely feel, its not that only children should do homework. Parents also should do Homework. Mothers whiling away time in TV viewing, gossiping are not uncommon to see. It is such mothers who patronize tuitions.

Let me put this way.
I and my friend both are book lovers. And we met on the way. I started telling something. He waved his hand indicating to stop.
He said, " Do you know, there is a Book exhibition going on."?
"Oho.. I too wanted to say that there is a Book exhibition..",
This explains all.
Honestly I don't see where interruption comes here since both wanted to say the same thing, but your friend probably was excited about it and wanted to share the news with you so stopped you so that he can tell you about it before anything else . I guess this can happen to anyone, when you want to share something important , you may interrupt the conversation and speak about it !
When i wave my hand towards my friend or somebody else, I expect that person hears what for i stopped him. For me it's certainly an interruption, if that person starts talking without knowing what I wanted to say.

True. Everyone may not be in a position to analyze themselves. Such people may not be able to achieve what they want in their lives than those who analyze themselves constantly. Self analysis enables you to make a Road map. It assures you that every step you are taking is towards your goal..

Self analysis is the best available option to remain balanced. Though everyone is not capable of self-assessing, there are people who are not interested too. I believe, if it is practised each and everyday very keenly then negative traits will gradually get rectified.

I just joined this site an hour ago, submitted an article and responded to one question. Its pretty easy to navigate around this place. I am sure I am going to enjoy my association with this site. Is it possible to change my name? I assumed that my user name will be the one that is used on my posts. Would love to have some help here. I am also open to receiving tips from users and veterans here.

I feel very comfortable to write on word and paste my articles here. That is how I do on all the sites I work on, including mine.
Word helps us check grammar, spelling , gives us a better diction ect.
I also find the text size very small and it makes it difficult for me to proof read my work. I have some problems with reading small print.
That said, if word processors are tools to help us write better why should Boddunan stop people from using it.
I understand copy pasting stuff from the internet is not acceptable, it is plagiarism, However, but why is copy pasting your own work not acceptable? Please help me understand this.

Most of us would definitely go a certain distance within our capacity to help others without any expectations like give some money to poorer people or wouldn't mind paying a little extra to a laborer or pay whatever the smaller, street side shop keepers demand, I never argue or bargain with them because their profit margin is so little...However There may be some who have enough means to take care of their needs in life and wouldn't mind spending time and money on activities that makes them happy without expecting anything back . However for an ordinary person, it is not easy to think of doing anything without expectation in day today life , more so since people hardly reciprocate these days ..There have been umpteen number of times when I open the door in a shopping mall or a shop and a dozen people would pass through without even looking at you forget thanking you , probably knocking you and pushing you in the bargain...Now I don't bother and when someone comes through I tell them to wait until pass..

Leave aside fathers, now there are many working mothers and in that case it becomes difficult to manage their child's studies regularly. Still, some try to help their child in studies on weekends but some think that that tuition is the best option to educate their child and they spend their money on number of tuitions as status symbol.
Another problem is that many stay at home mothers find it easier to spend their time in watching T.V., chatting over the phone, shopping and many such activities rather than going through the books of their children. If a little time is spent in understanding the books then there will be no need to send a child for tuition at least up to eighth standard.
