@suni51, didn't quite get it! You mean why waste money on govt schools or in trying to bring children to school ? In either case, isn't education the basis of progress of any nation?
Yes it is, but what is the use of wasting money on false admissions, false results (in fact no results)and eating up public funds by schools/ management/government machinery which all fabricate false data of students. And what the nation gets in return- nothing but extra bills for no gains whatsoever.
We need to change the system from bookish education to practical training that will help children get on job training and make them competent for earning their livelihood.
While agreeing for the need of a change in education system that enables opportunities for livelihood, I would like to add, the change is not possible unless parents too realize what the purpose of education is. Most of the parents are satisfied seeing their children piling up degrees one after another.

Even toddlers prefer mobile phones over toys. They avoid real life activities and some of them become victim of gadget affection. Parents are responsible for this addiction. A child behavior is the responsibility of a parent.

Helping nature always attracts others. So if someone is doing something for you without taking anything from you then naturally you get attracted towards the person.

We are going to add more activities under points system, so you can see more points for the same activities you are presently doing. This will take sometime but you can see most of them from Oct`15.

Children get more attracted towards criminal video games and take more interest in crime based scenes. If children are using such gadgets like iphones or mobiles to play video games, parents should take care of what their kids are doing on the mobiles or iphones.

An ideal parenting indeed.Children emulate parents. If the child sees its parents who start their day with an I phone and end their day with an I phone they too follow the suit.

Sofs, that's the way it should be. I too have managed without giving these to my son and have always encouraged playing outdoor games and if no one is there to play, he goes cycling. But peer pressure does make them ask for these things from their parents ..its like "everyone has a PSP " or 'how about a game download in your mobile' ? Reading is another thing that I encourage..I buy him lot of books and thankfully he has now taken to it. Question however is not of our own kids . There are lot of parents who dont find time to spend with thier kids due to work pressure as a result of which many kids are taking therapy. Wanted to post a link but cloud not manage. Just trying it again..
