In one of your posts you declared him a traitor and said he will be hanged. It is this self declared judgement of yours that I find objectionable. Such pronouncements can be done or wished for only after investigations are over and results announced. You are avoiding the issue.

How people who are basically veg eat meat, that too of cow.? I hve been in UAE for almost 3 years. pork is sold in deep end of super market and not openly. This is  basically to cater to American and European expats..   Any way you look at it, the very thought  eating cow's meat makes me shiver. I'm a non vegetarian. I get my nutrients through a plethora of vegetables which contain more proteins than chicken meat or goat meat

India is a country with diversity. You cannot ban beef in entire country. That is why state governments have the power to ban cow slaughter depending on circumstances in their states.

@MGSingh pl note that the value, importance of cow during Vedic periods and till mechanisation took over farming is not at all under dispute. Buddhists are  predominantly non veg as can be seen in Thailand, Japan, China etc countries including Sri Lanka. Trouble  is when Vedic period practices are sought to be superimposed in today's times when industrial revolution has changed the paradigm altogether. The medicinal values of cow urine and dung are not at all under dispute. But with more concentrated and viable alternatives where is the economical market for these products. I am pretty  sure you will not apply cow urine to cure your skin disease when efficient medicines are available. Also when rational arguments are given the retort generally is i emotional and the beauty islost. Today the cow is no longer domesticated for farm use. It is seen as a economical investment for milk and when old is uneconomical to maintain and is thus sold off. This is what is done to productive machines also. I may appear harsh but that is the reality.Old cows are left to die on streets and weexpect government to take care of them for our sins. You yourself have demolished your case by agreeing pork is sold in Dubai a Muslim country. Are tey more tolerant than us? Why are vegeterians obsessed with what non vegs eat.

You certainly have point regarding goivernment action.   The present Government is a firm believer  in Hinduism.I'm sure it's going to  take the initiative in this regard. Why not, ours is a Hindu Rashtra and it's the bounden duty of every Hindu to uphold its religion  and the sanctity of its religious texts like Vedas and mythologies.  I need not tell you or any other Hindu that Hinduism is one of the oldest religions of the world.

If Netaji's daughter accepts that her father died in the air crash that itself should be a ground for closure. Rest is all wild speculation for scoring points against Nehru and Congress. Courts accept circumstantial evidence and award punishments. Trouble is many want that till their viewpoint is not proved they will go on keeping the issue alive.. Netaji's daughter stated that saying that Gumnami Baba was Netaji is an insult to him as would he have chosen to spend his time smoking away and not continue serving India for whose freedom he fought so hard. The only interest is why files were not declassifeid earlier. Perhaps more disclosures may throw some light on this aspect.

But for media attention we would have not come to know about the three unfortunate suicides in TN. Itis a case of apathy by college and local authorities which has contributed to this sad episode. National parties do not have a foothold in TN . The opposition DMK should rake it up. Blaming media is not proper.

In last few days winter has a good comeback. From last 10 days the regions of North India are feeling cold and sun shines for only 2 - 3 hours in the day time. Most parts of the world are now feeling cold and snowfall is occurring in China and America.

I don't think there is a Caste factor behind the suicide of three girls in SVS Yoga medical college in Tamil Nadu. They were protesting on High fees collected by the management and refusing to issue bills.

Banning beef in India has become a contentious isue and many people are shouting that many communitiues in India eat beef. Spare a thought and think that 56 nations in the world have banned pork. They alsio have many pork eaters like Coptic Christians, never the less pork is banned.
