Agreed. I was intending to drive home the point, it takes time for a change. The greatest of the civilizations took centuries for their development. Rome was not built in a day.

I don't think so. Anything can be information. But, Knowledge has an edge over mere information.  it's only through the relics the world has known that Susruta was the first Plastic Surgeon in the world. And regarding the reach of this knowledge, it too can be easily accessed. Which is why the world has known such intricacies much earlier than the advent of Internet.

No doubt Congress party failed in many respects but to say we inherited a barren land is definitely not fair since most of the development that has taken place was initiated by the previous government and we have to impartially accept this fact

Change cannot be expected in a Day. With a new government at the helm of the affairs that has inherited a barren land, courtesy former governments, it takes time gradually for a change.

All are not political analysts. Common man sees the situation and arrives at a conclusion. In this discussion all are entitled to express their opinions. Even the political analysts too err.

For any nation to be called developed, there has to be an all round growth, not just Industrial growth but a change in attitude and a positive change all round which one cannot hope to see in India any time soon..The newer generation is smart and will hopefully and probably initiate the change in small measures ..

I doubt if India and the top leaders ever believed that Nawaz Sharief was genuine in his efforts, except a few people and the press which went all gaga ...Just because Modi invited him and Pakistan more on a personal level people and the press and some people starting reading too much into this ..

Sooner or later, it is bound to tear apart and disintegrate, what we are seeing now is probably the start of that phenomenon. Because, they are indulging in cutting throats of each other right from the moment they separated from India.

It's an undeniable fact, PM of Pakistan is just a figure Head. It's a mistake, India has believed that the efforts of Nawaz Sharif are genuine and India was happy too that there was a change in the attitude of Pakistan. It took no time for India to see the real intentions of Pakistan. Pakistan's show is mere false with an intention of while away the time. Now, there are less than remote chances for peace between India and Pakistan.

I do agree. Wrong policies  by the previous governments stalled India's development. Now with the new Government  and its new policies that contribute to the overall development, It's hoped that an all round development is very much possible. Many  International  organizations are coming forward to invest in India. Many MOUs are signed to this effect.

I too studied in Convents. To be specific, It was Methodist Boys High school in Hyderabad. But never faced any problems. We are free from restrictions of any kind. A student is allowed to wear any religious marks that speak about their religion. Of course attending morning chapels was mandatory.

Statistics say, Internet traffic is estimated to be as of today 32 terabytes per second. That's humongous really. And internet is all about information. Not necessarily about knowledge. If information is the criteria, such information one can find in ancient literature.

Pakistan has none to complain against and nothing to complain about in this regard.  "For you have sown the wind and you must reap the whirlwind"...Bible Anti-Indianism is the sole and fundamental purpose of  with the miserable flop of the two-nation theory. It is not too far back in the past that one of its late presidents propounded the dark theory of bleeding India through 'thousand cuts and wounds'! Indeed, time has come for Pakistan to pay for its horrendous crimes not only against India but againt the humanity!
