True. In fact most of the religions originated from Hindu religion. Because Hinduism existed since several centuries.

in AP there is prohibition. Most of the States, selling liquor generates revenue to the State's exchequer.Which is why the respective States will not implement prohibition. unless Central Government implements Prohibition, in a strict way, nothing happens.

Like rich people of the society, poor people also like to store and have liquor. Is it possible to poor people to buy and store costly bottles of liquor at home? It is discrimination. Government of Madya Presesh should understand the feelings of common people of the state.

The problem is that it is being done illegally by many private nursing homes and couple getting abortions too , which could be stopped by legalising the procedure and making it mandatory ! I am sure it was struck down with nothing but vote bank ( men) in mind !

In a market economy, should all citizens not be treated at par? Allowing only very high income group to stock 100 bottles of liqueur of high price only on payment of licence fee seems very discriminatory. If there is policy to allow people to stock liqueur, this should be to all. The only condition needs be that the liqueur should excise paid and not illegal or spurious. Licence fee could be according to value.

Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah seems bent on breaking his previous records for being insensitive and and an allround useless leader that the state has had in a long long time ...This time A Tanzanian girl was at the receiving end of mob fury for minor or no reason and the police stood and watched the whole episode !
http://www.deccanchronicle.com/nation/crime/030216/bengaluru-mob-strips-tanzanian-girl-torch-her-car-as-police-watch.html#.VrNuchclL2g.facebook
But as expected the government and the Home minister who is a typical sycophant of the top leader is in denial going to the extent of saying that the attack never happened !!! Honestly do we need such leaders to rule us ?

hndus are in large numbers in Kenya, South Africa and Tanzania. In fact at one time the Kenya hockey teal had 7/8 sikhs.
India was hub of international trade in anicient time. So many Indian migrate to different countries including African country. Family which migrate to African countries before 60 to 70 years, member of that family multiply many times.
Of course there are plenty of Indian migrants and settlers in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and South Africa and some of them who went from my town have been there for more than 150 years or even longer than that. ..A lot of Sindhi business people too have been there for generations together.
Not only Sindhi Gujrati also migrated to African countries. Elder son of Mahatma Gandhi did not come back to India and settled in South Africa, although he changed his religion.

I feel that it is a combination of all this that has made things come to this level...Earlier when I was in college , we had many Tanzanian students living in our neighboring house and no doubt they were a bit noisy but very friendly with all the neighbors and my parents had kept in touch with a couple of them for a long time. Things are different now with many of them misbehaving and making a nuisance of themselves in most areas where they stay. There are also Iranians who have been in Bangalore for may years but they are much more disciplined and blend in well with the society without standing out like a sore thumb. Again it might be because of color as MG Singh points out that any minor incidents by the white skinned people may be overlooked but when it comes to black skin it gets blown out of proportion !

Ramayan is not just a story of Ram and Sita and Ravana and how Ram threw Sita out of home, etc. IT is more about symbolisms and deep meanings and without reading and understanding the full epic, we cannot comment on whether Ram did right or wrong to Sita.
Exactly ! Epics have become so because of their impact on the masses and also the wisdom and depth that they impart! Ramayana is not just a story about Ram and Sita but about a time period in history. Rama too did not lead a happy life but he suffered because of the consequences of his action. One may say he was rigid but it does not make him any lesser a man ! It is precisely because of this quality, where an individual can identify his own self with that of Ram, who is an avatar of God , that these epics become so much a part of your life. Goes to show God is universal and humble and he has no airs ...It is the people who make him seem like a control freak !!!
Ram Sita and Ramayana, it is matter of belief and faith. No evidence available to prove what is written in Ramayana. So it rubbish thing to go to court for justice for that character of Ramayna.
Yes, it is rubbish. Which is why, the judge dismissed the case describing the case as bereft of logic and facts.
Dismissel is not enough. To stop such type of nonsense practice court must be imposed heavy cost. Every courts of India have Everest of pending cases, it is purely waste of time.
