If we want to see progress and development in our country, we need to give opportunity to the talented of our country. Bright and talented people are not only in scheduled castes, we can see such persons in other groups also. Government should understand the feelings of such people also. Opportunities are too much in government sectors for backward classes. Then, is it necessary to take quota-based affirmative actions in private sector also for this privileged classes?

Yes some quote in news paper that if government force for reservation in private sector, make in India covert in fake in India. I hope government will not accept this recommendation. The present Government has decided to take forward its " Make in India " movement. In such situation, I don't think the Government will blow a hole in its  cherished movement 'Make in India' only to make 'Fake in India.'

A great miracle had happened in Siachen Glacier. One of the soldier buried under snow was found alive after 6 days. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/Soldier-trapped-in-Siachen-avalanche-found-alive/articleshow/50908657.cms

I read it in evening news paper, very shocking news, may his soul rest in peace.   Shana sez:Yeah, heard the news. But at least his family got to see him. There are so many stories of missing family members, not just of soldiers, who disappear and are never traced. Unless you get the body you don't get closure, and keep hoping and hoping, even when the years have passed. And then you start imagining what they might have looked like at this age, or that age. I remember chatting with a soldier who was posted in Siachen a while ago. And the first thing he said about his job is that "it's lonely, and very boring. We have to keep each other awake," or something. And they'd keep up games of friendly fire with the Pakistanis, everynow and then. If any one you has been to Thar Desert which is also near the Pakistan border, you'll have noticed solitary soldiers standing in the middle of the vast emptiness. Keeping guard over the marshy, sandy wasteland. They're usually alone , with the next soldier quite far away. But soldiers also love the camaraderie and brotherhood and the fact that each one is ready to die for the other (which is mass brainwashing for killing purposes as far as I'm concerned, but that's my view). And they miss that a lot when they frequently return to civilian life. Or so I"ve been told If any of you has served or has someone in the forces you'll know what I mean. RIP to the soldier.

You know Janki Dass, we was cycleist and also represent India in Olympic games before freedom.   Of course David was not a wrestler at all , there are three actors by the name of David in America who were all professional wrestlers and Rambabu has posted without checking out or making sure ! That was a grave mistake on my part Usha ! I'm sorry.

I come across a lot of youngsters in my college and school and at other social groups and majority of them are very independent in their thinking and if you strike the right balance, they too respond positively ! I am agree with you, no doubt present generation is much smart that our generation. But I am not agree with you that old timers just spit out book knowledge. In old time travelling was not so easy like present time. At that time books are major source of information.

Rajasthan is well known for Rajput dynasties who fought against mighty Mughals. Jaisalmer is also in Rajasthan. It is right that Rajpur known for their bravery but only Maharan Pratap fought against Mughals. Most of states had treaty with Mughals and accept their subjection.   Yes. Under these imposing and stately relics, a great amount of ancestral knowledge is hidden. How many  people especially younger generation is aware of this ? What all the younger generation knows is Lifeless concrete jungles. Yes younger are stranger about the glorious history of this great country. How many knows that till the 17 AC Europeon peoples did not use undergarments, because they have not soft cloth. When Indian soft cloth reached to them they started wearing under garments. Quite an interesting fact. I was not aware of this. Are  you speaking of Dakha Muslin ? It is right that Dakha is known for its Muslin but it is also right that in most of part of India people know about weaving of soft clothes. I know about Dakha Muslin. A Muslin cloth of 7 yards can be folded in a Match Box. About other soft clothes i'm not aware. This quality of Muslin in know thing of history.

It is right that Monisha Koirala is Nepal origin but he spend most of her life in India since he childhood. There are many actors like Manisha Koirala who spent most of their lives in India. Tom Alters is another example Yes I am also saying this, David, Manish, Madhubala, these are not foreigners these and Indians. Though these actors are of foreign origin, they mingled and mixed with their fans and Public with ease. You know , character actor David was a Wrestling Champion? It is new information for me that David was wrestling Champion. You know Janki Dass, we was cycleist and also represent India in Olympic games before freedom.   If I'm not mistaken, Subha Khote was also a cycling Champion You are right sir, we saw her talent in Hindi Movie Seema.
