Here I am talking to moderator Kalyani Nandurkar, there is one of my article showing status that it is edited by you; but not moderated till, since 2016-02-09. I just want to ask, for how long it will remain in pending state; when it will get moderated?

The fetish for fair skin is there not only in the movie world, but even in the daily life including marriages. Even if the Groom is in black complexion, he demands a fair skinned bride. Movie world is no different.
People with fair skin is very rare in Tamil Nadu. Muslims, Brahmins and people from other states are mainly the people with fair skin. Therefore, the bride-grooms are ready to marry brides with dark skin. They have no option to choose brides with fair skin.

The duty of policemen is to bring peace and order in the society. Here the policemen did their duty according to the order of Maharashtra government. When people tried to hoist the saffron flag near Ambedkar Chowk, the police in duty prevented them to do so because the place was officially labelled as a sensitive area. Then why these people came back and assaulted the police sub inspector? The government of Maharashtra should take necessary steps to stop such illegal activities that happen in the state.

Kalyani Nandurkar answered the question Whom we forgive easily - Close Ones or Far Ones?.
It depends on how grave their mistakes are whether they are ready to accept their mistakes, feel sorry for it and have tried to make amendments for their mistakes. I guess it does always hurt more when it is a person close to us but then that very reason makes it also easier for us to forgive and move on with life.

I truly support the judgement. Blackmailing of any kind should not be permitted.
As expected some Indian men would clap their hands at the judgment but an extremely unfair and immature judgment in my opinion, where the wife's feelings have not been taken into account but one single letter written by her probably out of frustration due to loneliness, has been taken as evidence. No mention whether the husband tried to rectify the situation, which is what a husband would do if he wants to set things right instead of keeping the letter for so many years and making an issue ! I feel the wife should be happy at the decision given by the court rather than challenging it because the fellow is simply not worth the trouble !
Being a woman still I support the decision. It is true that among a couple sometimes such conversations do take place but the article pinpoints that the lady got years in between to clarify this doubt but she did not do it. If the man had done so then I would have opined against that man. Among couples blackmailing should not make an inroad.

I doubt if any state would want to give up on their language while interacting on an official level because it gives them a unique identity. Insted they could have a translator when such tricky sotuations arise, it simplifies matters ..

yes it is system in whole world men are superior than women. Judge may be man. "Khatey Hain Pyar Ki Duniya Main Do Dil Muskil Se Samtey Hai, Gair To Kya apno Tak Kay Saye Bhi Na Anney Patey Hai, What is role of Judge and court in love world of husband and wife.
Even if the matter reaches the court because of difference of opinion, I feel that Judges who are part of the family court should have proper counselling which is normally done , not once but 2 or three times with the couple, their lawyers and a court appointed lawyer ,before pronouncing the judgment . One of my cousin had to go through this process and after the counselling sessions they both decided to get back together and now are better adjusted !

There are different languages used for official purposes. Owing to lack of uniformity, problems arise when there is interaction with other states or foreign nationals.
In Maharashtra, Police feel difficulty in translating documents for information of non marathi and foreigners.

Will it not be better to use only English for official purpose in center as well as states. If this is not feasible owing to genuine or false sense of national pride, can we not at least adopt Roman script and use only English words for technical and professional terms. For example, why not use 'notification' in all languages and not translate this as 'adhisoochana' in Hindi or something in other languages. This may ensure an end to anarchy arising from so many languages with different scripts and various synonyms for the technical/ professional words.
