When a good deed of the sincere teacher goes unnoticed and unheeded , naturally the teacher' hearts sink. A kind of indifference takes over.

@Kalyani Nandurkar I need to agree with you  about what you said regarding the connection between reservation policy and appointment of the teachers. As I said it's not the only factor but obviously a dominant factor. @usha manohar's experience says it all. This is tragic state of our education system and nothing is in our hand to change it. I sincerely hope a day will come when @usha manohar will receive what she deserves but yes such policies simply drain out the enthusiasm of the deserving candidates and teaching gets the maximum beating.

I too met with stiff opposition from my family members in this regard. I simply brushed them aside. It's Ok if you  make a general comment.

Having knowledge is absolutely different from imparting knowledge. Those teachers are truly great teachers when they are able to explain the subject very convincingly but who fail to do so despite holding academic awards cannot be termed as great teachers. The students have to be extremely satisfied or else it's meaningless and along with it if students respect the teacher for his/her loving nature then nothing is greater than this. Basically any profession should be taken up because you feel that you can contribute positively and not simply to earn a living ! Shampa, you can use the quote button found underneath each comment like I have done , so that we get to read both the comment posted by other members and your response !

Apparently some super brains have come up with a super computer that can predict your death with almost 100% accuracy ! Of course these are early days and we have to wait and see how this develops and whether we can make plans for our tomorrows once when we know for sure when we are going to kick the bucket ! This machine can also be a boon to those with life threatening diseases that have not been diagnosed ! http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/home/science/A-super-computer-that-knows-if-youre-going-to-die/articleshow/48959793.cms?utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=TOI

1 in 5 deaths is a very alarming and disturbing fact that speaks of the intensity of liver Cirrhosis. Yes from the figures Liver Cirrhosis is prevalent in both Urban and rural population.

Most eminent people who say that they never believe in Astrology toe the line and get the Kundalis matched when it comes to their own children. I have seen this happening with so many so called rationalists who have done this either due to family pressure or not wanting to take a chance when it is a question of their children's future !

All Engineering graduates may not behaving same caliber. I know some very meritorious Engineering Graduates fumble in interviews simply out of nervousness and fear. This is what I guess.

This is out of my reach so it's better to leave it for the techs but I wonder, how did they fail in solving it?

Liver Cirrhosis  is found mostly in those who are not aware of the consequences of excess drinking. It's more prevalent in the rural regions.

I too could not understand some questions.  May be some engineering graduates able to answer some. I'm a science graduate. Very less knowledged in Engineering subjects.

Most of them barring one or two are technical questions rather than logical , so I am not able to grasp  them all.. But I guess it should not be difficult for Engineering graduates !
