You missed it or intentionally overlooked it. Logic meant some basis...On what basis did he Portray our gods like that? Read each and everyone's point of view and I do accept your opinion. Still, I have to say that it is fine to remain positive but a person is bound to think that why did it happen. No response is also a response, is a great answer by @vijay and it signals that the other side is not keen to continue the relationship. It hurts because when one is not at fault but is subjected to misbehaviour is undoubtedly an insult. I must appreciate the answers of @suni51 and @Gulshan Kumar Ajmani who have indicated that self respect is of utmost importance. I too believe in this but still, I tried to contact them because I don't want to harbour any ill feeling. From today onwards self respect will be of prime importance in this case and nothing else.

@suni51 wants us to believe that all Muslims have an agenda against Hindus and Hindus are victims. Similar but opposite sentiments are expressed by Owaisi of MIM. To both we want to tell the reality is some where in between. People of both religions are co existing peacefully all over the country, yet there are die hard self proclaimed but influential persons on both sides who do not want communities to live in peace. They want strife and for this will go to any extant and any period in history to raise inflammable passions. What sadistic pleasure they get only they can explain. As someone said the agenda was develop India for all communities but it now seems to be divide India into various communities.

The picture reflects the broad mindedness of the people. What do we do when we enter church @suni51? Even in Gurudwaras the prayer style is different from the Hindus but we visit it just because we believe God is one. The fanatic people have created all the mess. The beauty of this incident reflected through the image is that people of one religion is not forcing their religion on the other section. Why should we force our faith on another? Rather we will share everything together, respect each others' faith and carry on our personal life and belief.

Because of its rarity , the original web link was titled with the prefix " Rare " As I thought this is certainly adds more interest to our members in the forum.

@rambabu I am absolutely fine. My life does not revolve around them and I have far more important things to do in life. As we know that friends do have a place in life so it bothered me a bit. You see, with time it will die but yes, the prick of insult or you say disrespect will certainly be there because I am a human being and not an Almighty.

It's fascinating. As @Lopamudra wrote that recording of Rabindra Sangeet sung by Tagore is available but this one is a rare recording which is very true and it is truly amazing.

For what else one goes to a Mosque ?   Muharram is an occasion of Matam by Shiya Muslims. They weep in the memory of the martyrdom of Hussain the whole night and next morning march to Karbalas giving themselves as much pain as possible by thumping chest, beating themselves with iron chains and even using knives on themselves. I have seen this from my childhood and as one Shiya mosque was adjacent to my house in Lucknow I have seen them weeping whole night from my roof. Incidentally, there was no Hindu ever present in all this activity.  Next Muharram is on 13th of this month, keep a watch. Let me make myself clear to you. I was quoting my experience. Respect and tolerance in My state was the point I wanted to drive home. There are several places in every and corner of Vizianagaram where  Peers are exhibited for the viewers. Telugu people in AP offer prayers and offerings They stop eating any non vegetarian dishes on this occasion. http://www.imamreza.net/eng/imamreza.php?id=5130

The western equivalent is Cupid.  Rati is the female sex goddess. The Hindu god Kaal Bhairav drinks liquer and non veg food. similarly Kaali goddess.  In fact, gods are cosidered likehiman, theywear same dress as human like dhoti, sari, blouse. The gods are also married likehiman- Shiva Parvati, Laxmi, Vishnu and so on.  As such, it is not so bizarre to paint them as if they were ordinary humans. That is why Hussain would ave painted the goddesses nude.  Everything in Indian culture from Prunas to mythology are obscene and vulgar. Have we Indians forgotten about that trio honorably known as The divine trio  Rambha, Urvashi and Menaka who are used as seduction tools by Indra ? Have we forgotten about " Kama Sutra ? How convenient it is to hide behind the naked truths ? Ravivarma the enigmatic artist and painter faced criticism for making Indian Gods like human beings. And He's a Hindu And a recent case that took place in the " Holy " city of varanasi  where in the police hurled and rained bundles of currency notes on a group of street dancers. Art is divine. The divinity of art is so enormous that not all can measure the enormity of it. What to speak of double tongued hypocrites?   Okay let me put it this way- suppose I am an artist and I draw a picture of all the Hussain's supporters in total nude or going a step further having sex with a tiger. Would that be my imagination worth praising or people will dislike me more than they do right now. I am sure you cannot blame me for this post as that would be nothing short of  double tongued hypocrites. You know art is divine and I am an artist too, although I do not match Husaain' imagination powers.

Happily, the leopard was rescued and sent to forests.

Is that so ? It's news to me. This is a good thing the leopard was sent to forests. When the water resources are dried out these wild animals leave their natural habitat.
