Our politicians remember them only during elections or else they are left to their own fate.. Not only backwards and dalits are sufferers, all common person is sufferers. Police is only for politician and influential.    At times I feel sorry for the police force because theirs is not an easy job, they are being pulled in different directions and even if some of them want to perform their duty, they will not be allowed to do so by the law breakers , mainly politicians and their goons. I have several relatives who are in the police force who feel stifled because of the political interference .. True Usha, political interference is the worst of the many things that the police have to put up with. They do not have enough salaries that can help keep them up with the ever-growing inflation, not enough modern weapons and equipment to do their jobs with. The goons and sociopaths they deal with are always better equipped than the police. On top of that, they have to work miserably long hours and cannot give enough time to families, resulting in broken homes and disgruntled children. It is a fact that in Pune and Mumbai, maximum number of police children indulge in crimes at one point or another. So what the state must be in UP , we can only imagine. So t is no wonder that the police take out their frustrations on the innocent hapless in such grisly manner. No doubt police department have maximum interference of politicians. If police man refuse to fulfill the wished of politicians, they may faced many problems. Working enviornment  is also not healthy  in police departments. All states have shortage of police force. All police men are not bad. But they must be understand their duty. Where to go common person? There is no alternative for the Indian police but to obey the orders of his boss.  After all, his job job is his bread winner. In this process, he has to resort to some inhuman deeds, though against his conscience

In most of the Indian families, Father is the head of the family. Keeping this point in view Children's self worth is linked with the dominant parent. Very rarely you find Mother as the head of the family.

Noble deed, Well said Anil. Many people come with lame excuses and  hide themselves behind their weaknesses to come forward and do a noble deed. Anita is not a Millionaire . She hails from an ordinary family and she sacrificed her scholarship and built a toilet. She is a beacon of light and source of inspiration, Hats off to her.

Last Week, I watched a terrific Malayalam movie new release - Ennu Ninte Moideen (Yours Moideen) based on the real life tragic love story of Kanchanamala and Moideen which happened in a small village Mukkam of Kozhikode during 1960s and 1970s. Kanchanamala is a Hindu while Moideen was a Muslim and the whole story revolves around the communal rivalries and the communication between love birds through letters, when Kanchanamala was kept under home arrest for nearly 25 years till Moideen's death in 1982 in a boat mishap. Sacrifice of Kanchanamala and her long wait for her sisters' marriage so that she can run away with Moideen without feeling guilty, not seeing each other at least one time for more than 10 years and finding a new language to write love letters when their letters got caught - they are unbelievable incidents.   It's really hurting and more shocking that this movie is a real-life incident, which leaves a burning mark on viewers' heart. Though they loved each other and kept waiting for a day to marry each other for 25 years, their union didn't happen and Kanchanamala is still alive at the age of 73. She was in her early 40's then and was accepted by Moideen's mother soon after his death. She turned Moideen's home to a Women's Welfare Shelter which gave a new life to many prostitutes and widows and still active in her social life!!!!!   It is not at all easy to forget Kanchanamala and her eternal love and sacrifice. Has any such real-life heart breaking love stories ever made alive on silver screen before? Perhaps not!!!!!

Sandhya Rani answered the question online shopping.
though online shopping sites are there, it is not easy to make people convinced to buy products from an online store. we people are running an online store. another reason quoted by some people, "Shopping is a form of exercise after retirement" and they choose to stay away from "delivery at door step" concept........

Now we are running an online grocery store in Thrissur where orders are being processed in a daily basis. You people might not believe. Our customers mostly rely on us not for branded products or cosmetics, but for grocery including vegetables, cereals, fruits and daals. More than 80% sales is on groceries though offers run for branded products as well. So nowadays we have begun to feel "People are interested to go to malls or super markets to buy branded products of their choice" and so we are keeping less inventory for such products..... Mostly personal care products.....
