The link has been given in the article itself. http://shobhaade.blogspot.in/2013/04/aarushis-monster-parents.html    In the earlier post, it was you who compared Shobha De's opinion with that of Khap panchayat and now you are changing the tune. Highly confusing and highly undesirable!!!

A while ago I read an article and it forced me to think that why the popular personalities take so much liberty while they judge people. The link here does not mainly discuss about the movie Talvar but basically the writer has thrown light on the panellists' approach on a television debate show. Though I had followed the case, I forgot about such dirty remarks on the parents that were made by the panellist. Here, I share the link: http://www.huffingtonpost.in/urvashi-prasad/why-i-would-like-to-apolo_b_8238700.html I have read several articles read by Urvashi Prasad on the same subject and to a point I agree with her views .What has happened is extremely tragic and media too has played a great role in this particular case. Now regarding Shoba De's remarks - First of all she is entitled to her opinion like any of us is and what she has expressed is in her blog not a media interview and Shoba De never minces her words. Blogs are meant for expressing ones personal views and it is not her fault that many people want to read her blog and judge her based on that.Even after the release of the film , many people and the CBI still feel the same way as Shoba De that the Talwars' were guilty. There have been many blotch ups with the investigation and two other suspects who have somehow not been investigated thoroughly ...Shoba has expressed her views based on what was revealed by the police and the CBI and also going by the obvious view that Nupur Talwar seemed to conceal rather than help the investigation whaich is what any mother who had lost her child would do, go all out to aid the investigation, which was not the case here ..  comparing her to Khap Panchat is ridiculous and shallow..

I lust listened to the song and it has been rendered quite beautifully and the lyrics are so touching, at the same time, they paint such a dismal picture of darkness and despair and the next, they show a glimmer of light and hope! Beautiful music !

While drawing an analogy with flocking birds,we have to accept that our avian friends hold a much superior record in terms of credibility and credentials. They always remain true to their feathers unlike their human counterparts who are notorious for flitting, flirting, strutting on borrowed and camouflaged feathers!!!

Lopamudra wrote: @Jeets, as you said, we do respond to different situations depending upon the stimulus( here, behavior of various people) . We may be peace loving people at heart but if we encounter dishonesty or aggressiveness ,we do react accordingly. But reputation is not something earned depending on your reactions or backbiters. Reputation is gained over the years. A person who is calm and peace loving by nature  will ultimately be seen the way he is because his natural instinct or reaction would be to sort out matters or stay away from such people or mend bridges. Likewise an honest person will be judged based on his work and not on what people speak behind his back. I would agree with that . We also have to remember that at any given time different people view us differently based on many factors , personal or work based. So one cannot go around pleasing everyone nor worry about what people think of you. You do what you have to do within your ability and you will build a reputation of your own regardless of who you are with ...

usha manohar answered the question online shopping.
It is a question of convenience and once the tend sets in everybody follows it..It is the same with everything else.Super markets and malls were not there two decades ago but now you get to see them everywhere and people like shopping in these places, so also online shopping , which has caught with the internet users. It is a big business which means many people use it.

Shampa Sadhya wrote: @usha manohar That's great! That means we have a common liking. Nayak is too good and Uttam Kumar was at his peak at that time. I have not watched Sathi Hara so I have no idea about it but the other movies are really nice. Amanush and Anand Ashram are bilinguals and I have watched them in both the languages. The thread started with National Anthem then it led to Bengali movie and that discussion cannot be completed without the mention of Uttam Kumar.   I must have watched Amanush a few times and Uttam Kumar brings tears to your eyes in some scenes with his restrained acting ...in the song Amanush  banake choda on the boat ! Here is a link that gives 5 stanzas of the National anthem and the English traslation for those of us who cannot understand Bengali. http://www.ndtv.com/india-news/the-forgotten-stanzas-of-jana-gana-mana-464590

Oct 10 is the Word Mental Health Day. In developing countries like India, people with mental illness (especially in some rural and remote areas) are often confined to small rooms within the house and in some cases are even tied up. Awareness about these stigmas is the only solution to eradicate such stigmas prevailing all over the world. http://www.medindia.net/news/healthwatch/world-mental-health-day-2015-dignity-in-mental-health-154336-1.htm
