And there is no dearth of dishonest people who take Undue advantage for their own benefits. And in this process the sacred religion of what we call Honesty is being mutilated , distorted and disfigured. In this adverse conditions there is no iota of a chance for the survival of Honesty.

stark fact has been that no epochs of history
ensured a better fate for those who traversed
the narrow,straight and lonely path of honest.
They ploughed the lonely furrows with complete
knowledge of consequences and suffered them
stoically.They suffered but society benefited at
their cost and sufferings!!

Even I would prefer to be honest rather than take advantage of my position. And who said honesty is a policy? In fact honesty is the religion but dishonesty is always a policy for people who wish to take undue advantage.

What I read was that pressure points in reflexology is mostly located in Hands, legs and ears. In Acupressure the pressure points are located in the entire body. If there is a variation you can let me know.

If you can arrange a little exhibition some of the viewers who are avid stamp collectors may evaluate the value of your collection. Of course, if you prefer to keep it as a hobby, its OK. A friend of mine found one of his stamps was reversely printed. A stamp collector paid my friend Rs,1000 and took it away. My friend did not spend much of an amount on this stamp.

How can there be difference in pressure points since they are all nerve endings that are pressed for different kind of pain...Acupressure is the old Chinese method whereas its modern counterpart is reflexology, in fact from what I have seen ,it is termed as Acupressure reflexology in many articles and medical references

Life is influenced by many factors so if there is tragedy then it will be reflected in one's work. The death of a young son is an irreparable loss but one has to live on. Yes, it is rightly said that his sadness had given his voice more depth and it became so soulful.

Their motives are suspect to say the least.Why did they accept accept state awards in the first place.I can not name not too many but a few honorable ones whose names do honor to pages of history who firmly subscribed to their firm belief that any state award or reward is nothing but a bribe or inducement to buy their independence and they scrupulously avoided and rejected them.The less we say about our intelligentsia the better.A majority of them are loose cannons and of dubious characters.

No worries what soever. I still have my publishing agencies who are willing to make things in my own way. Even Vizag Steel, a PS industry gave me all liberties. Of course, this happened to me and it doesn't mean everybody will have such opportunity.

LOL..Shoba De can bring out strong reactions in people because of her forceful nature and personality but from what I have seen she is a very straightforward and honest person who does not speak for effect !

When we look at a situation we have to see both sides not just one side...Writers have been feeling threatened since a long time in India and elsewhere in the world and now with the two killings they may feel more so.No one is saying that they have no right to protest . The problem here is the manner in which the different political parties are posturing by taking sides, almost as if it is the fault of one party and what is happening now has never happened before in India which is of course far from truth ...The writers too are human and while they have the right to support any political establishment they want, the very fact that they call themselves as rationalist writers , the expectations are far more and when they become tools in the hands of the political parties , naturally questions will be raised about their intent.
Yesterday there was a debate where one of the author/columnist Keki Daruwalla admitted that they had no agenda of returning the award until Nayantara did and the rest followed suit ! When he was questioned why they did not do so earlier when there were far more gruesome incidents , he had no ready answer to that..It goes to show that they are being led by political parties for their own benefits..

I have been collecting stamps since the time I was in school and have a huge collection of old stamps which has been added on to by my children. I and my children collect stamps for pleasure and have not really bothered to get it evaluated ...some of them may be valuable!

Jagjit Singh and his wife Chitra sang many melodious and unforgettable songs like yeh mera yeh tera ghar, woh kagaz ki kashti and Jagjit;s tumko dekha to yeh khayal aaya, Honton se chu lo tum and Kal chauduvin ki raat , are a few my favorite songs.He was a great singer but had a very tragic life which in turn gave a lot of depth to his voice...

Honesty certainly gives courage. But for this, one has to be a firm believer in himself and be able to stand to the adverse situations without quitting. But in these days of rampant corruption and political interference how many such people you can find ? That's why it is easier to quit and live peacefully instead of buying troubles leaning on age old beliefs.
