@Kalyani Nandurkar Absolutely right! This is the high time. We need to learn how to lead our lives properly. We cannot indulge in double standard, if that's the case then God save the upcoming generation.

Complaining and crying Foul on dishonesty is nothing but ignorance of the current scenario. If there are no problems in work places be it in government or private spheres, why the necessity of complaining against dishonesty arises ?  One should be aware of the validity of a particular belief like " Honesty pays". Sticking to age old beliefs which are no more relevant will make the person repent.

The only reason is, the meaning of the thread gets diluted when we start commenting without getting the exact point and some or the other has to explain the real context again and again. Sorry for pointing it out. Do not feel sorry or be apologetic about point it out Shampa, but time and again, people do need a reminder to read previous comments before answering first! They keep forgetting the most vital point of any discussion and that is, to hear or read what others are saying first! So thank you!

As more and more information is pouring in new facts are seeing the light. The officer who headed the investigation team of CBI believes that the Talwars are innocent. Additionally, two of its investigation teams contradicted each other. one group says Talwar's help killed krishna killed both Aarushi and Hemraj. The other team says parents killed Aarushi after finding her with Hemraj. It is due to varying views we the peoplle are in confusion and jumping to our own conclusion.

Hi Usha, Navratri greetings to you and all the members of boddunan. In Maharashtra, we have Ghat Sthapana in our homes which basically celebrates the nurturing and sustaining nature of the the feminine power of Mother Earth and the Godesses Durga, Kali, Amba, parvati, Saraswati, Mahalaxmi etc. all of whom are manifestations of this divine, feminine power. Ghat is basically nothing but an earthern pot which is placed over a basket filled with earth in which seeds of nine grains are planted. The water from ghat permeates the soil and in nine days the grain grows into healthy saplings. It is a kind of tribute to earth that produces food and sustains us. On tenth day, the saplings are offered to god. It is a belief of the farmers that the healthier the saplings are, the better the rabi crops will be.

There are two thought on honesty,  one that says,  it is common with people in government sector and the other one that applies to private sector people. Both are true in their own ways but I have a doubt in my mind, why then we complain about dishonesty if we have so much concern and importance for the contemporary time' issues. Why and people manage to remain honest where there is no workplace related issues or no government workplaces at all? I think this is all about upbringing of a person who can fabricate excuses for being dishonest. And what makes the issue most interesting is that people working in government sector and involved in all kind of unfair means have no hesitation in crying fowl at the first opportunity. Ham Nahi Sudhrenge.

In today's Times of India , editor Indrajit Hazra has come up with his own take on the matter ...The witty manner in which he has addressed the subject  is quite amusing especially his own reason for returning bis birthday gift to his father LOL.. http://blogs.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Undertheinfluence/how-to-return-an-award-without-coming-across-as-uncultured-and-boorish/

The link is worth reading. What a style the editor has! Each and every sentence makes a strong impact but through a mild satire. Loved it.

Dusserah or Navratri is a festival celebrated across India in different ways. Here in Karnataka Dassarah is celebrated for nine days when schools have holidays on the beginning day ( today ) and the last two days when Ayuda Pooja and Vijaya Dashami are celebrated. In Bengal it is The festival when Durga Pooja is celebrated with a lot of pomp and is the time when families get together from what I have been told by my Bengali friends..

Yesterday, I read a column by Niranjan Prakash, a reporter in Maharashtra who gave an account of the initial investigations carried out in the Talwars' home immediately after discovery of Arushi's body and later on, that of Hemraj. Although he did not give a graphic report of the things he discovered (he was present at the scenario) because they are too gruesome and explicit, but as the investigations went on and police kept discovering new things, he says, that 'it completely shattered all the notions of what kind of life the higher middle class people indulge in, their twisted sense of ethics and morality, the very casual way they indulge in extramarital affairs, easy flings etc. etc.' At one point, the reporter has also hinted on the same attitudes having been handed down to the girl in question and the way parents might have behaved upon their discovery that the girl was only doing what she saw her parents doing all the time. The way everything was found, evidences tampered with by the doctor friends of the father, one of whom happened to be having an affair with him, etc. all points to the fact that the murders were planned and carried out with a calm and cool head. Whether the Talwars are guilty or not and that we are wrong to fling mud at them or not, etc. there is a reason for doubt after all. But at least what I have derived from all this is that too much consumerism, degrading quality of life where morality, ethics are concerned is fast taking certain class of India towards decadency and debauchery which leads to nowhere but destruction! If we can learn any lessons from it at all, the time is now!

Parental ignorance is the root cause for many childhood problems. Interacting freely with the children will help the parents in identifying the Child's nature. Contrary to this many parents think interacting with children is not necessary. Such parents have the wrong impression interacting with children is childish. This ultimately leads to driving away the child in to a state of isolation. The child forms an opinion that he is a stranger in his own home. Subsequently it results in child's low esteem.

Shampa Sadhya replied to the topic What is Reflexology ?.
Though I have heard about these therapies except clap therapy, never tried it. I would love to know from you in details how to practice it at home for migraine. I suffer a lot either due to complete headache or half headed. It becomes necessary to take paracetamol and an antacid but sometimes I need to repeat the medication. I know in the long run it will prove quite harmful but nothing doing, it becomes difficult to continue with any household chores and more
