Shampa Sadhya replied to the topic Smita Patil's Birthday.
Smita Patil was a great artist and obviously when we discuss her another name comes in automatically and that is of Shabana Azmi. Basically, I am more fond of Shabana Azmi but I do like Smita Patil too. I remember the movie 'Arth' very clearly. I hated her character when I first watched it but later after 4/5 years when I saw the movie once again I found a great change in my thought process. I simply felt that the whole fault was in the male character.

Shampa Sadhya replied to the topic What Durga Pujo Can Teach India About Communal Harmony.
Durga Puja or any other religious festival raises one question very strongly that a country like India which has a great number of people under poverty line but the puja committee's believe in extravaganza as well as they have feast on the contributor's money. This part of any festival is ridiculous and it should be checked. A section of people do not have food to eat while celebrations are examples of wastage of money. I feel this is incomplete and unjust puja celebration.

@usha manohar Yes, every decision has its pros and cons. Well, I know it is very easy to say than done but I am dead against them who depends upon compensation. If there is no relationship between each other then I believe transaction of money should not be there. Living will be tough but still one should refuse to take money because it enhances self respect and that helps one to fight against every odd.

It is practice in our country to buy grocery items, vegetable when return from work. I am also doing it. It is my routine to buy vegetables and fruits at evening when I come back from my shop. We buy ration for whole month from grocery shop.

India's democracy has forced the PM to reign in the motor mouths to send the message that in a pluralistic country a narrow agenda will not work. Is this also a message for RSS and other units of Sangh parivar? Democracy moves slowly but moves with finality. Bihar election results will be interesting to follow. Can Modi rise above his followers?

Reading books and writing on paper both is good for us. I don't believe in drinking coffee for nap and not brushing after meal. Here we listen that we never drink tea or coffee before sleeping like it cleaning teeth after meal is tradition in India.

Nevertheless we young people who donot find time rely on these apps. It is only on sundays that we go to monda market or rhythu bazar
Moreover, there are online apps for breakfast, lunch and dinner too! (like tiny owl, food panda, etc)
I guess technology is making us lazy and removing the hard earned livelihood of the people!
Young ,middle aged or old - when you have to work outside and inside your house you are always busy...People were always busy, probably even busier because they had very few gadgets to rely on before apps came but they managed. It is a personal choice one wants to make..Some want to try out new things but some are happy to continue with some old time tested ways , also try out new ways that are happening..
