Swetha Shenoy created new article How I failed in my interview.
I am a person interested in Human Interaction and cannot get myself to stay quiet in my job. After my last employer had a massive layoff turning to close shop, I had but a strenuous task of searching for jobs and mind you, it is not as it was yesterday.
Especially for women (no gender bias) and being a married women staying with orthodox family, we are supposed to humble ourselves to the fact that we run our family and job both on the basis of the outcome of our household. I did search on-line for a few prospectus jobs and I landed one, or thought so,an interview. I had prepared myself well- learning to be confident, knowing about the company, knowing the office route, bus route, etc and started off. I had reached the office way before time and was done with two rounds. it was decided that I had to attend another round after a couple of days and when I had attended, I came to know that I flunked the interview. I was completely devastated and disappointed; yet I decided to take matters in my own hands and analyze the situation
Fact: They were looking for an experienced professional recruiter of 3 years
Reality: I had only 1 year of experience in recruitment and the rest in other domains and it was not enough! I had not done much research on the position because I had not talked about the position but what I did. I realized that this negligence does not attract attention by rejection! Bottom-line, we need to learn the job description of the position and talk only about that!
Fact: They mentioned they had more roles into similar fields of HR
Reality: Nevertheless I was happy to state that I was flexible in doing any role of the similar field. I realized that this is a test and we must not give in to choices, but stick to only one choice if given a chance. This truly is an assessment for the fact that the interviewer tests our focus skills. For what is one man's food is another man's poison!
Fact: They wanted to know what I did in my previous company
Reality: This is a very tricky question. Do not, I repeat, do not blabber away what all was done in the previous company because they are not looking for other roles; rather they are willing to hear more about the role similar to the vacancy! I learned this hard way around. I spoke less of recruitment and more on training & development, Core HR and employee engagement- which were nowhere related to Recruitment process (the job role they were offering)
Aftermath:
After I knew that I was rejected, I was very disappointed and very frustrated. Being into Human Relations, we are often faced with such situations. I made a small checklist of feedback and asked the employer to reply back;
Dear employer, Thank you for the opportunity for the amazing interview, I would appreciate your feedback, Rate the following in a scale of 1 to 5 with 1 being Very bad and 5 being Excellent
Very bad
Bad
Neutral
Good
Very good
Punctuality-
Physical appearance-
Interaction over the phone-

Communication skills-
Friendliness-
Final notes to remember
Always do your homework about the position applying
Only speak relating to the position, do not waiver
Stick to one job role only (which is preferably the position they offer)
Always make way for 2 way communication by mails or texts
Do not be over friendly or snobbish
Do not quiver while in conversation
Always know your competition too. If a friendly rapport is built with the person who took your first round, we would be in a position to know where we stand too.
Well, all is well that ends well!

suni51 created new article Learn to listen to your own self.
Listen to your own self
I wanted t write this article in first person that would allow me as a narrator to write using variations of 'I' or ‘me’ but as we know that sounds odd on writing article sites for it makes the article lesser attractive for Google, the search engine, so I will go with the standard practice of writing in my usual way. (But I will take the liberty to use ‘first person option’ when necessary).
We all know that the opinion of others is worth its value but one knows best how he feels best about himself. One must listen to his own voice and deal accordingly, there is no use asking for help from others for smallest of your problems. You will maybe get help but at what cost? At your own devaluation in others’ eyes! You will get help but you will get away from your inner voice, so why not try to help your own cause and save yourself from embarrassment!
We often meet people having a common complaint that they cannot go on with their existing problems. They feel they have had enough and cannot go ahead without someone showing them the right path. Here I want to use narration in first person as a trainer who deals with at least 20-25 professionals during the training session, some of them are not happy with their job and wish to resign at the first opportunity. They ask for my opinion and in some cases my help. In fact a lady married for four years asked a straight forward question in the morning session today- I am not happy with my husband should I file a divorce case.
I do not know about her but that took me bit aback. But I know in certain conditions people find them alone and feel disappointed. They reach to a point where they see no way out and look for someone to solve problems for them. But the truth is the opinion you seek from others is within you. The need is to listen to your own self and look deeper within your own self. You will find a right answer that will be far superior to what you’re expecting from outsiders.
We know the right answer
Yes we know the right answer but do not accept it until someone endorses it for you. Let me give you an example, if you ask me my age and I say I am eighty, you will not take it. Suppose I amend my answer and say I am sixty-four you will still not believe me but if I say I am 53, the chances are you will take it. You know what I mean, you knew the answer but wanted to listen it from my mouth. So, now I have told you what you wanted to listen, you immediately nodded in agreement. To be frank, you were waiting for the words that matched with your own anticipation.
In fact, when we feel confused and seek an opinion we ask questions but in most cases we believe the answers which we already had in our mind even before we heard the answers from someone else. However the truth remains that we always wanted to listen what we thought was right. There is another point that can be added here is that we seek help to feel we are not alone but someone cares for us or ready to help us through our problems.
I have no hesitation in saying that I do not mind when someone does not agree to my suggestions because I am not a professional counselor, ( I have been hired on part time basis by my company to teach them professional ethics). But I can understand the disappointment of professional counselors when their clients refuse to agree to their suggestions. But I can understand the mentality of my students who do not listen to my opinion because they never wanted to listen to what I told them. In fact they wanted to listen to what they had in their mind but I did not say that. Actually they had the solution in their mind but they were not sure.
You always wanted to be happy
If you wish to make your day memorable that should not be a problem for you. Just keep these three points in your mind-
1- I suggest you to read two news every day, a good one and other a bad one. The bad news is you cannot compel anyone to love you, like you or accept all your decisions and the good news is that makes no difference.
2- Actually, you can see people in every field of life who love creating problems in almost everything they participate in. Such people know how to attract attention but you have no reason to get distracted from your chosen path just because some people believe in dramatics. But you need not give them any attention but it is better to ignore them.
3- Don’t let yourselves limited to keep looking at the cover of the book but open it and read it as the matter that will enhance your knowledge is all there inside the book. The need is to take the specs off and look beyond color, size and the figure. You will see the inner beauty which is far superior to what you see from outside. I have always had my strong belief in the saying that “the things look different once you change the way you look at them.
Conclusion
If you have a firm faith in your own thoughts then you think in terms of, ‘I said to myself…’. Yes, there lies the solution of all problems. Once you start believing in yourselves all problems look so very small. It is good to seek opinions or should I say second opinions, it is always good to gain knowledge from everywhere but in the end it is you, only you the best guide who can solve your problems. Actually once you learn saying something to your own self then there remains no problem.

Thanks Rambabu, you write which I like. No one is good or bad, it time which is good or bad. Divorce is end of marriage life with no or very little scope of compromise. Never think for separation, think only and only for bonding. Couple who got divorce will always repentant in future.

suni51 created new article I hope India never reach to that stage .
India is going through a difficult phase at the present time as the opposition parties have started a massive drive against the present government and being afraid of Indian Prime Minister's popularity among the Indian people which is growing by the day besides his growing international reputation and credibility.
For instance the Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar a member of the BJP has said nothing more than - People can live without eating beef which does not mean people can live in INDIA only when give up eating beef. It's same the way the community in question refused to accept yoga as a fitness exercise in the name of Surya Namaskar a Yogasana despite the assurance that they can use their own words in place of Surya Namaskar and the whole thing was optional, not binding on anyone. But the way things are being presented and Hindus have been presented the day is not far that a Hindu will regret why was he born a Hindu.
I would say that it's better to listen to the words carefully before jumping to the result. the erstwhile ruling party is trying its best to spread confusion among masses by putting the words in the mouth, spreading rumor etc and the new party in government not matching to their tricks as of now are easy prey when they say- we take our words back if anyone found them hurting. That is a common gesture for keeping the decorum which is grabbed by the party who ruined this country while ruling and now out of power they are doing it for the sake of creating suspicion in the mind of people.
Munawwar Rana, a poet who mostly attends Urdu concerts in Muslim Countries returned his award along with a cheque of Rs 1,0 0000 saying so many things on a TV channel last night in a dramatic way. He tried his best bringing the point that proved his community a victim of terrorism which is not the case but on the contrary the case he was referring to, was presented in a wrong context.
Rana said Muslims are target of Hindu terrorism which is not true but an act of accusing to defame India intentionally. The Hindu was never known as a community involved with terrorism. Munawwar Rana did not say a word about 100s of Hindus standing on Pakistani border in an Indian town of Rajasthan seeking asylum in India for the atrocities they have been facing in Pakistan regularly.
Neither had I heard a word by so called secular of this country about them so far. And the latest incident that took place in Karnataka has not been even considered worth talking which saw a man killed while trying to save a cow by so called victims in this country. I am sure the way the things are being presented in this country the Hindu community so far considered one who adjusts all and accepts all will take to hard lines and the it happened will be an unfortunate day for this country, known for its citizens’ tolerance power.

suni51 created new article Akshay Kumar is a jolly fellow.
Akshay Kumar As Serious Actor
Akshay Kumar the actor from Bollywood is one of my most favorite filmy personalities. I love his acting as well the witty talent and most of all his incredible sense of humor which stands him apart from the lot of leading contemporary actors in the industry. I have full confidence that if you ever asked him to be serious for a day he will give you a hearty laugh immediately. Does that mean Akshay has never been in serious in his life or played a serious role in his life? That will not be justified if I do not mention ‘Aitraaz’ at this point in which he played the role of husband of Karina Kapoor who was in love with Priyanka and had a child with her. That was one off movie of him in which he played the role of a victim and did the job beautifully.
I think there is a big difference in between a serious person and a person having a normal attitude toward life. I feel that Akshay knows the real meaning of seriousness but he prefer to stay normal in all situations. I also feel that Akshay has the same belief as I do that a person does not have to be inside the way as he generally appears or behaves in public. A person who looks serious is not necessarily the same in his personal life too or vice versa.
I recall reading one of his articles in which Akshay had mentioned that in the beginning of his career he worked with a film actress known for her seriousness or not being frank with her co-stars but spending all her spare time in reading her favorite books. Akshay once entered in her vanity van by mistake which was also white colored like the one he owned too. He was astonished to see that heroin was jumping on her seat with her shoes on and laughing like mad. He recalls that she was stunned for a moment but did not stop doing what she had been doing and kept jumping and laughing. Akshay said she was back to her normal self once out of the van and back on the set. I think that pretty much says for the seriousness of a person in public. Akshay says he does not mind jumping and laughing when doing nothing in particular.
Akshay as a money minded person
Recently I had a chance of seeing Akshay in Delhi as I was in Delhi with my Ex boss for couple of hours for a meeting with a client who came from Canada. Incidentally, that client was appointed by me as a dealer in the company during my regular job and the client wanted to meet me. I had an opportunity to watch Akshay Kumar in the same hotel where he was meeting media for the publicity campaign of ‘Singh is Bling’ along with Lara Dutta and Amy Jackson. Akshay was in his usual funny mood and was responding to answers with his own humorous ways.
I had only a few minutes to listen to him and despite the natural anxiety a filmy person has before his release Akshay did not show any sign of nervousness. Not even then when a reporter asked him about the 100 crore club and his last few movies missing the mark with small margin. That question kind of triggered off some more similar questions but that did not made any change on the face of Akshay. He smiled and asked a counter question. He asked whether he should worry about such petty things after having worked in the industry for close to 25 years. He summed it up with a one liner- everyone needs success and so does he but not at the cost of his mental peace, he does not care much weather his movie brought 90 crores or brought 100.
Akshay has no tension.
This is all about the question Akshay will ever direct or produce a movie under his own name? Up to date he has a plain and simple NO for an answer. He has been asked this question by many at different occasions but he has the same answer. And I have read this somewhere that if someone insists for an answer he has a pretty interesting answer, he would tell you- He has many stories in his mind especially a suspense thriller which he would love to share with anyone and if you can successfully tell who the murderer is then he will do the story.
Here is his story- For example, he himself plays the role of a business tycoon and Aishwarya Rai is his lover and Sunil Shetty is his friend. Nasiruddin Shah plays the role of a police officer. Akshay comes back from a foreign trip and told by his friend Sunil that his lover Aishwarya is dead. He runs off to his lover’s home and finds that Aishwarya is very much alive and standing in front of him. Akshay asks her lover about the incident from his lover who explains that the truth is that his friend Sunil died a couple of days before.
Akshay was even more confused as he had met his friend at the airport a couple of hours before. He drives back to his friend’s house but had a small accident with police officer’s car. The police officer, Nasiruddin asks about his problem and when Akshay tells about his story the officer explains that the fact was that his friend and his beloved both were murdered a couple of days before and shows him the newspaper. Akshay says, the day the mystery of murderer will be unveiled he will announce his movie. Akki does not stop here but laughs aloud as he finish his story.
Conclusion
Akshay does not want to be a director or producer as he has his funda clear. He says while he is doing well as a hero why should he go for something he is not sure about. He says he wants to keep his smiles intact.

If the couple fail to arrive at a decision that is mutually agreed upon, then the best thing to do is to remain separated and wait. Who knows, they may realize and repent and continue their married life. Many couples after waiting for some time realized and reconciled.

Here is bane of many states of Indian on cow slaughters. How government can slaughters cow and sale beef who banned it. Majority of Hindus never accept that cows are slaughter here. It is better that government import beef for beef lovers. Cow in useful animal. Its dung and urine is used for curing in illness and these are also useful in organic farming. Cow urine is an effective insecticide. I am saying all these only for Indian cows.
Of course cow is a very useful animal and has to be looked after with care since they are domesticated animals. In a way what you say makes sense , importing beef may be a good solution !
