I joined my first company as a sales engineer after my BE but I got my promotion as Sub Area Manager only when I completed my PGDM. So, in my case it was necessary. I am grateful to my company for providing me time and financial assistance for doing that. So, yes MBA is good for people willing to go up in private sector.

Jai Jawan Jai Kissan- a slogan coined by Late P.M. Lal Bahadur Shastri is valid even today.    Is the slogan " Jai Jawan  Jai Kisan coined by late Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji followed strictly and religiously ? Had it been followed, how we can account for Farmers deaths which are increasing by day ? It is obvious, there is no strict adherence to the slogan. Additionally, environment abuse in a large scale for the sake of development is affecting rain fall. All these are contributing to the farmers deaths. Another truth is that there are no sincere efforts to follow the great leader Shastri ji's Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan.

Many people think, they can climb up to the top positions in the Corporate world with an MBA. The reality is something different. One can climb up the corporate ladder with his knowledge, efforts and hard work. It can be achieved without MBA also.

It is natural that any one would resist if his means of livelihood is snatched. Means of livelihood is a matter of life or death. This literally proved a matter of death to one who opposed closing of ghis abattoir in Mangalore.  In fact, Karnataka and Maharashtra are two very senstive states. Authorities need to exercise more precaution.    https://in.news.yahoo.com/mangalore-man-forced-closure-abattoir-015000957.html

Do you need MBA qualification to boost your career.  If you feel this is must, reconsider. MBA may not be really necessary.  https://in.finance.yahoo.com/news/really-mba-succeed-050148696.html

The paper cups are convenient to use. But these should be quality cups and not plastic.

But, production costs are high. Production of paper is a strain on resources. And the recycling process is also not easy

The others may feel or think what they like, that is immaterial since some Hindus too might have similar views about other peoples religious beliefs .. Yes Hinduism or it better to say it Santam Dharm is oldest one. Average Hindu is not fanatic. Hindu is adjustable and believe is compromise. In India person of any religion became of Prime Minister and President, is it possible in other countries who are follower of religion other than Hindu. It is not the possibility of appointment to political posts like President and P.M. that matters.  We have many women politicians- ministers, C.M. etc. We had most powerful woman P.M. Yet crimes agianst women are increasing. The declaration of secularism does not mean that the feelings of majority community is not respected. We need learn from Nepal, that is now declared secular country but cow is also declared National animal according to feelings of people there. We are secular but we have also banned cow slaughter in most states. Owingto diversity of culture, it is not possible to do so all over India.

The suggestion for import of beef does not appear appropriate. India is major beef exporter. However this is now cow meat. Buffalo meat goes in name of beef.  Banning cow slaughter and importing beef is self contradictory.  Ban to be effective is to be on cow slaughter as well as on beef eating.  But such ban can be only according to food habits and culture prevailing in he region.

rambabu said thank you to anil for his/her reply to the topic Conditions for minorities to live in India !.
rambabu wrote: anil wrote: usha manohar wrote: Manoj Kumar Lamba wrote: Secularism means respecting all religions. But in India the case is different. Here secularism means anti - Hindu. Any politician or any writer or any person who claims himself as a secular person always use anti Hindu words. And if we talk about the discussion, then also minorities in India feel themselves safest in comparison to other countries. Government has many plans and policies for minorities in India so that they feel comfortable to live in India. It is Hindu bashing rather than anti Hindu which they cannot afford to be because, many of them are Hindus. Many think it is sophisticated to put down Hindus and their customs and beliefs and look the other way when such issues come up from minority religions...That is India's idea of secularism which people have gotten used to in the past years ..  One person use RTI to know that what is meaning of Hindu. But our constitution have not any definition of Hindu. For common sense here Hindu means who worship, Ram Krishna, Hanuman ji, Ganesh ji and all others Gods and godess. In India all persons who worship these Gods and godesses are zealot. They are not secular. Followers of all other religions are secular here.    I'm glad dear Anil  that you have such  broad views on religion. I too believe in " Live and let live."Now please allow me to say about my own experience. My wife is very religious minded. I'm not. We lived under the same roof for 49 long years. She follows her own way and I follow mine. Our children are highly educated and well settled. I never tried to force my own beliefs in her. She too cooperated is cooperating with me. No ridiculing. No heckling . Our secularism also says freedom to practice any religion. Fanatics are there in every in every religion. These fanatics are making their livelihood through religion. But i was never drawn to them.Nor I'm going to in future. In my own state religious tolerance is very much there. When a Muslim meets me he wishes me " Namaskar" And I reply, " Adab Janab. " If some more person behave like you than I am assured that India have not any problem of religion. I am also thinking like you. If you can't regards others religions that never disregard their religion. basic principal of all religions are alike. Hindu's Laddu is sweet, muslim's sewaina is sweet, sikh's halwa is sweet, Christian's is sweet, where is difference.

anil wrote: rambabu wrote: anil wrote: rambabu wrote: anil wrote: rambabu wrote: World Food Day is observed all over the world on October 16. It's objective is to eradicate Hunger by spreading awareness among the people. But with the rampant abuse of environment for the sake of Development, rainfall has become scarce. Groundwater levels are depleting. All these factors are to pondered before we think of eradicating Hunger. It applies to India too. Due to reduced rainfall, it has become a herculean task for a farmer to grow his crops. For this reason farmers are forced to resort to chemical based agriculture. The chemical used for farming are ridden with toxins, which further lead to poisoning the food.  The traders started using artificial colors to the vegetables and artificial ways to ripen the fruits. As far as I'm concerned, I'm aware that I'm eating poison, not food. But I don't have any option. Some consolation for me is, I eat more pulses. and I eat only home food. Not only we eating poison, we are drinking poison, we are breathing poison. We have not any option. Pulses are also not free from poison. You can cook food at home you can't grow these at home. The best solution of it is use these with care. Use old grains and try to grow some vegetable at home. Filter water properly. I agree. We don't have any option. Even old grains also not easily available except in faraway village  fairs. In these fast paced life, it is not possible. But as you said, one should exercise utmost care in using these foods. That is the only option left to us. Always purchase whole grains and store them for one year. In this way you will get old grains. Sock pluses at least 6 hours and that use these. Purchasing whole grains and storing them for one year is thing about which i had no idea.. Of course soaking the pulses 6 hours before use, is what we too do  here, Here purchasing grain for whole year is very common. Wheat is our principal grain. Mix 20Ml. cow urine in water and soak vegetable and fruits in it for 10 minutes, yours vegetable and fruit will free from harmful insecticides. Purchasing Grains in large quantities, here is not possible. Because of space constrints. Here in AP our main necessity is rice. At the most we can buy rice for one month. And the rice that is available is devoid of outer skin. People want attractive  rice. Hence we are losing the real nutritional value of rice. Thanks to modern fast spaced life.
