Over a period. Ayudha Puja has changed from weapons to implements. Means a work man who uses his working Tools for his livelihood . For example A Mechanic who uses tools like wrench, hammer etc are being worshiped.

India has made tremendous advances in agricultural sector and is fully providing foodgrains to the ever increasing population. But members seem to be only concentrating on few negative aspects. Yes the suicide by farmers is a sad happening but is limited to a few states only because of other social conditions also. Farming is after all a high risk business venture and unfortunately some lose out. Need is to move small and marginal farmers to industrial jobs fora livelihood.

Pulao is a rice dish and many be cooked with vegetables or meat. Similarly Biryani is a rice dish with vegetables or meat.  How do these differ?

vijay replied to the topic Why MBA!.
Today MBA has become a diluted degree because every Tom, Dick and Harry is obtaining it from sundry colleges. MBA degree adds value if obtained from the top, say, 50 colleges. In India MBA is done after graduation unlike in many countries where it is done after gaining 7- 10 years of working experience. It surely helps in understanding about how businesses operate in various areas. Increasingly MBA from good institutes is becoming a requisite for aspiring to higher positions of responsibility in organizations.

Such cross killings are going to take place because the issues are emotive to both sides. Police cannot be 100% effective to stop these acts as they are slyly planned. The need is to change the environment which leads tom such killings on both sides.

If beef eaters unite and come on the streets and stop trains and resort to violence then how will the government respond? What a waste of energy ?

This is a case I discussed in anther thread...Prashant Poojary was hacked t death by a group of people because he was an active Bajrang Dal member and involved in stopping illegal cow slaughter which in fact had been brought t the notice of the authorities who preferred t look the other way for obvious reasons.Emboldened by this the miscreants committed the murder ..It was only after a lot of pressure from locals that arrests have been made ..

In a Work place, where several people work, it becomes an ideal platform for acquiring the Competitive spirit. When I was very new, I learned this Competitive spirit, seeing the other members who already carved a niche of their own in the office. Over a period, through healthy competition, I stepped the stairs of success one by one. This has proved to be useful not only to me, but also to the organization. Productivity of the organization gone up. The pleased Management will rewarded me.

I must admit even in this respect, I consider myself lucky. Though not all times, whenever there are cases of recruiting new candidates occasionally, especially related with my own type of job like Art, and web design, Management used to invite me to become one of the members in the panel to interview the candidates. Of course, the ultimate decision is management's alone.

There is always need fr quality education and a degree in engineering combined with an MBA is an asset t any individual. All people cannot be like Bill gates , who was also very particular abut education but because of his brilliance could manage to make a mark...I personally feel that an MBA from a god university gives you an edge over others

Import of beef may create fresh controversies.  Those campaining against cow slaughter are not likley to accept this. Moreover majority of poor beef eaters cannot afford imported packaged beef.  Then what is the use of such import?

However this is now cow meat. Buffalo meat goes in name of beef.  Banning cow slaughter and importing beef is self contradictory.  Ban to be effective is to be on cow slaughter as well as on beef eating.  But such ban can be only according to food habits and culture prevailing in he region.    In fact importing beef makes a lot of sense to me because f the following reasons 1, It puts an end to clashes that arise out d cow slaughter , the law for which is not at all clear cut 2, In India cows are slaughtered fr consumption after they are past their prime and are f no use fr those who sell milk or use them in cultivation purpose, which makes the meat rubbery and of poor quality. 3,Many beef eaters complain about the poor quality of beef available for local use whereas in other countries the quality is far better , so those who want to eat beef , may not be in a very large number in our country get a better choice sans the continuous friction that we have now because of the cow slaughter. With due regards there are at least 40 crore people who eat beef and when I say beef that includes cow as well. You may find it exaggerated but that is the hard truth. So we can cater to them using our own organised sector which can take care of the demand and at the same time keeping the illegal butchery out of the picture.       If we go into history we have had cattle slaughter ban since the medieval times and even during Mughal times .When British came here they started the first slaughter house in Calcutta . However there is reference of a large number of Hindus , even Brahmins and some of the Hindu Gods eating beef in the Vedas. Coming to the present times , as many as 24 states have banned slaughter of cows because of the changed perceptions. The number f beef eaters is abut 80 millions which is a small number compared to the total population http://www.livemint.com/Politics/RhPVLUFmclIDWRIiSoTC7N/Who-are-the-beef-eaters-in-India.html   I have been traveling through every nook and corner of this country for last 30 years or so and more extensively in last six years after I resigned from my regular job. I have been going to the smaller cities in last few years and amused to see the figures provided by agencies are so confusing. 80 million is is only 1/5 in this context. This figure will stand good in my state of UP alone.
