The difference is that while making pulao, vegetables and rice are mixed together and then cooked in steam. Whereas, in Biryani, vegetables and rice both are half cooked separately and then they are put into a heavy bottomed pan in layers, first vegetable (or meat) layer which has been marinated with various spices, then  a layer of rice, again a layer of vegetables or meat and then again rice layer. This ensemble is then sealed well so that steam does not escape the pan and then cooked over very low heat. This is biryani, the longer it is cooked,m the better the taste.

@vijay most companies dealing with highly technical products prefer their sales team having proper technical knowledge with formal marketing knowledge. That way they save time and salary of one extra person. In my case I was a confirmed sales engineer only after completing my PGDMA. My job was to convince engineers/technical persons of various companies regarding my products. Incidentally I was working with Adwani Oerlikon, a Germany/Swiss based and one of the few companies having a wide range of welding electrodes and equipment. Our only competitors were L&T and Indian Oxygen Ltd. I agree engineers doing MBA and joining non-engineering companies may not sound the right idea at a particular point of time but you never know when one gets a chance in his dream company.

You cannot see so much discipline anywhere else in the country other than in front of a Beverage (liquor) shop in Kerala. The queue will be a kilometer-long and people stand patiently for hours with full discipline. But the same people will not have the patience to stand in front of a ration shop or grocery shop for even five minutes.

Engineers doing MBA and then joining non engineering jobs are wasting the precious resources of getting a technical degree. It is a fashion but the two are required these days. For a selling job the engineering degree is a total waste. But that is the trend so students will naturally follow it.

To success in business experiance is important than MBA degree. Persons who are from business back ground family can get experience in their family business. But for a person who is not from business back ground family, how he can get experience. For it he/she require to join any job. MBA degree is helpful in getting jobs. My Son is B.Tec. in IT but to join bank job he done PGDB from Manipal University. It is pre-condition of bank.

Yes. But in some states especially in AP,   the practice of performing Viswakarma puja is not there. What people do on a Viswakarma puja, we do during Ayudha puja.

India is no longer an agriculture based country economy wise. Nearly 86 % of GDP is generated by non agriculture activities by 40% population and only 16% GDP by 60% population. That should tell the real story.

In peak traffic police cannot even point at a violator much less catch him. The whole traffic will go helter skelter. Why should we hold police responsible our irresponsible behaviour. They are also human beings not robots.

That is not an excuse. I know about the hardships involved in police Jobs. Remember police will not spare you even for minor violation. Police look more for violators than disciplining the traffic.

Although I do not have the right but I request that this topic should now be closed as it has reached into Vedic times to score debating points in Modiji's times.

Low salaries are due to the low standards prevailing these sundry MBA institutions.

Majority of Hindus never accept that cows are slaughter here. It is better that government import beef for beef lovers. Cow in useful animal. Its dung and urine is used for curing in illness and these are also useful in organic farming. Cow urine is an effective insecticide. I am saying all these only for Indian cows.  True. Hindus do not accept cow slaughter. Cows are highly respected. They are referred in mythologies as sacred. They are useful in many ways ranging from agriculture to yielding milk which is nutritious. This milk is being used in making many dairy products .Milk of cow, buffalo and goats are used in these Dairy products.  In this scenario, I too agree that the government should intervene and import beef for beef eaters to avoid unnecessary clashes. Future is of organic agriculture and with out cow it is not possible. At present farmers are preparing insecticides at their own level with cow urine and some other plants. This insecticides is much effective that others. read it know how cow is useful for us. http://epaper.bhaskar.com/jaipur/14/21102015/0/1/ True Anil. Cow's role in farming is undeniable. But farmers use cows them as long as they are young. But many farmers either abandon them or send them to slaughter houses. This a sad thing. But there are many  old-age homes for cattle. These work under the act  Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, SPCA. http://www.thehindu.com/thehindu/mp/2003/08/18/stories/2003081800150300.htm  Yes it is problem, but in future farmers will not abandon cows. Farmers and owners will earn 10 to 15Rs. per liter by selling the urine of cows and they earn extra from dung of cows. I read that peoples are selling cow dung cake online.

At peak traffic hours police are mere spectators such is the volume. Cannot blame them, we are also indisciplined.

Conditions years ago were different from now. Traffic violations, undisciplined crowds increased with the growth of population. Our traffic rules and law and order situation took a blow with this spurt. Moreover, because of lack of strict implementation of laws, Road rages rose up. I know. in Hyderabad and Vizag Bike races by the youth are frequent on the road that too during the peak hours. And these violations are going unnoticed.
