I have come across many such articles written about gods and goddesses where the author gives his or her own interpretation , to suit whatever it is they are trying to achieve..
Yes Usha I agree with you, but it is my personal observation that almost all the leftists who claim themselves to be progressive are the ones who ridicule and show immense hatred towards our traditions, culture, and generally everything that are considered to be beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. By doing so, they think that they are being modern and progressive, an attitude which has proved to be damaging for the art in India and has now moved on to cultural aspects. Unfortunately, the damages that this attitude has caused is the main reason also for moral and otherwise general degradation of the population. Now, likening the worship of Durga to oppression of dalits is just taking it several notches down that road towards squalor. So that should reason enough for us to worry about.

I initially started out working as administrator, then moved on to people management which I did like but was not the job of my choice. Then after the birth of son, I resigned and chose to stay home as a full time mother but one fine day, a great opportunity came knocking on me when I was asked to translated an art instruction book as a trial. It turned out great , the publishers liked my work and I now am an almost fulltime freelance translator. IT was around teh same time that I stumbled across boddunan where I tried my hand at writing articles, which I could successfully and liked it. So initially even though I may not have worked at something I liked best, it was sheer chance that I changed my career completely opposite of what I had been doing until now and found that it was something I really liked.
Now, there is another opportunity where I will starting next week as administrator of an art studio. I will share the details of it soon with you as I want to share and connect you all too with the activities that we will be conducting in our art studio.

Man is an insignificant being in this infinite universe; but he thinks he is the supreme authority of everything. We know that everything in this universe are different forms of energy. And we cannot add or destroy a single unit of energy in this universe, rather than changing the existing energy from one form to another. That means we, humans, have no power of creation or destruction. These powers are vested in somebody whom we don’t know or is beyond our knowledge. ....We are just witnesses, watching the wonderful world like a bewildered child, but pretending like a colossal genius.

I can do accounting work but no one like to give job because of my health problem.
I agree. I know well about your health that forced you to remain in a job which you do not relish or like. Still I applaud your strong will to remain as a self reliant without being a burden to others.
I got an opportunity to change my profession as a creative artist and utilized it. But all cannot get such opportunities to stick to a job close to one's heart.

It is true we Indian spend some years of our life is queue. Today I read in newspaper that Maharashtra government lift ban from criticism of politicians. Now a cartoonist can scatch cartoon on politician. Real tribute to great cartoonist, R.K. Laxman.
R.K Laxman is a legend. Legends are forever. He may not be among us today, But his works especially that depicted the stark realities existing in the society through his cartoons like a weapon stay in every Indian's heart.
