@Lopamudra Your instruction filled answer is very helpful to understand how to use processed meat or by the way any processed food. In India many take chicken salomi, sausage and other items quite frequently especially in winters. These are taken directly in the processed form especially for sandwiches but after reading your explanation I feel these should be sautéed or shallow fried to keep it healthy. Am I right?

Anything done in excess is harmful. Main reason why processed meat is considered harmful is because of the additives and preservatives that are added to it. But if had in moderation, it does not make much of a difference. If people have a balanced meal comprising of cereals, pulses, vegetables , curd etc, on a regular basis then having processed meat once in a while does not matter. One should also follow the cooking instructions carefully. They are best had shallow fried or sauteed, over doing it may cause the chemicals to react. Charring of meat is unhealthy !! With a few precautions it is possible to have bacon till a ripe old age without complications but having it daily is not recommended.

I too enjoy these small little things like listening to the music with a hot cup of tea or coffee. That is my relaxing time. Even if it is just for fifteen mins, when I have that morning cuppa, I turn on some light music anything from Old Hindi or English numbers to Bengali Rabindra Sangeet. Another thing I like and do as a routine is reading. I read myself before going to sleep at night and encourage my son to do so too. Walking is something I do to keep active but enjoy it only if I have company!
Reading is one of the best things that can help us refresh and recharge our minds. I too love to read and so does my son, most days at night before sleeping, we both read either Asterix comics or one of his Geronimo Stilton books.

This whole exercise of returning awards is completely pointless and meaningless. India is and always has been a country where all sorts of writers, poets, artists have always been able to express themselves freely without the fear of retribution. In other countries, free expression has often lead to incarceration and punishment, in India, such things are quite rare and yet, these people are making noises and claiming to be suffocated! I serioulsy like to think that these few people who are claiming to feel suffocated etc. are being made to do so by the congress party!

Tending to plants and spending time with nature is something that one can never get fed up of...You can go on doing it day after day all your life experiencing the same kind of pleasure and satisfaction each time..

Actually its kind of a chain reaction which seems to have started. People protesting against intolerance, blaming the govt for everything happening around them and in the process showing intolerance towards the govt with extremity to an extent that it seems like a game plan followed by the Government and its supporters showing intolerance towards the protesters. Shah Rukh Khan also passed this remark on 'extreme intolerance' in the country and was termed 'anti-national' by a another leader. It seems be be like fire catching on. It has to stop

Social network is a good platform to remain connected with friends and families, with globalization, many families have members scattered around the globe and such sites help them stay connected and share their moments of joys and sorrows with each other. For professionals too, who need to connect and reach out to more and more number of people, it is a good way. But when people start sharing new selfies at least a few times each day, sharing what they eat, feel etc. it becomes quite silly. But then, each one to his own. Like what you like, ignore what you don't!
