I am proud that my child is popular and sure she would be famous too but I don't care if she doesn't become famous. Her popularity tells it all that she is doing all the right things in her life.

I don’t want to encourage my child to be famous or popular. He needs to be liked by every one; but need not be praised. A healthy, intelligent and confident person, he should realize the purpose of his life and fulfill it, at the same time, doing good to others. This is just a parent’s dream; but the real decision maker is the child himself.

Shampa Sadhya said thank you to usha manohar for his/her reply to the topic Birth anniversary of Bollywood star Dharmendra.
Dharmendra was an MP and so is Hema Malini and they have some responsibilities towards the society they live in..If we can question other celebrities including the layman , why not Dharmendra when he has done something that looks very opportunistic, taking advantage of a religious norm.

Dharmendra was an MP and so is Hema Malini and they have some responsibilities towards the society they live in..If we can question other celebrities including the layman , why not Dharmendra when he has done something that looks very opportunistic, taking advantage of a religious norm.

Yes you are right it is the like blur in his life. But for we he is real hero of films. So we don't take it so serious, it is his personal matter. Why he done he know better.
Dharmendra is not a social reformer. He is an entertainer. Why he should set an example. He has set an example in his own feild,
As far I am concerned I don't agree that entertainers have no responsibility for following social norms but I don't mind if he converted to Islam for marrying Hema Malini. It should open our eyes that the personal laws are being misused for personal gains. All should follow the same rule to keep the society clean and in order.

I like Dharmendra's comedy movies like Yamla Pagla Diwana, Secondhand husband, Chupke Chupke. Of course Dharmendra is adept with any genre of acting.

Besides Alternative arrangements, a Voter should be educated for creating awareness on the importance of exercising franchise in a democratic country. This awareness is absent in most of the people in remote rural regions.

I agree with you. Irrespective of the crises that one faces during a life time. there is a likelihood of yielding to some superstitious practices. The other so called Rationalist should understand and show restraint. They should not heckle or ridicule the believers. As the Rationalist is entitled to follow his own ways, believers too have their own way. In no condition they should be clashed.
