Our History Books should be rewritten. Somewhere I read, Akbar is not as tolerant towards Hindus as written in History Books written by Foreign Historians. In Chittorgarh war Akbar ordered to massacre thousands of Rajput Prisoners of war including women and children. Please correct me Gulatiji if I'm wrong.

rambabu said thank you to Vinod Kumar Gulati for his/her reply to the topic Salman Khan released in hit and run case.
With the case of Salmaan Khan, our judicial system has put a question mark upon its own integrity on the points of the granting bail within few hours after conviction and disposal of the appeal by turning down the observation of the Sessions Court on the points which could well be taken into account by the lower court. Prima Facie, the matter seems to be doubtful. Hope the Apex Court will come forward to deliver the justice to the deceased's family.

Rightly pointed out that the verdict to acquit Salman has cast the doubts on the Judiciary system of India. As a Lawyer (I hope I'm right) You know better

Unfortunately, history of our country has mostly been written to please the rulers of the relevant times. For more than ten centuries, we were slave to the foreign aggressors and even today, though being politically free, we are still fond of going through the books written by the foreign historians. If we go through the old structures and make research, we can find out some more details about the glorious past overlooked so far. We need to rewrite our history.

Boredom arises due to monotony. Doing the same activity from dawn to dusk leads to Boredom. Avoiding activities of monotonous nature is the secret behind avoiding Boredom. I personally change my activity often. For a few hours I write. And then switch over to painting, which is a livelihood too. Then I chat with my neighbors. At times I try a new activity like playing a Musical instrument. With all this the question of Boredom will never arise as far as I'm concerned.

If one is busy all the time there is no time to get bored. I cannot think of a time when I have been bored because I am busy throughout the day with my work and home front and weekends are a little more relaxed but again enough to do, so no time for boredom and I dont understand how people can get bored !

To bring out this truth is not wrong since Bharat has always been a Hindu Rashtra since the times of Mahabharat , so no point in denying it and also whitewashing the mughal rule which was anything but secular ..

This thread is about Shivaji who opposed massacre of Hindus perpetrated by the Mughals starting from Akbar to Aurangzeb. Is it a crime to oppose and fight tooth and nail to put an end to Hindu massacre ?

He has a beard and a pigtail like most south Indian temple priests have and one can easily mistake him for a radical Hindu. It is only when you speak and have interactions with him that you realise how sane and up to date his views are on any issue ! So, we cannot go by the appearance nor by the background of the person..

Manoj Kumar Lamba wrote: There are many loop holes in our Judiciary system and need to be reviewed thoroughly. It seems there are different laws for poor and rich. A poor man has less money, so he reaches only to session court and his case ends at session court only. While a rich person even found guilty by session court, can go to High court and then supreme court. And this will take many years for the right decision to come.    Generally when a criminal sentence is handed over to a person, he goes to jail. It's only after going to Jail, the criminal will apply for bail. Salman  got his bail within a few hours after receiving his sentence. A Bench at the high court heard the case and immediately Salman has been given Bail. Such cases create doubts in the Public. That's why the common man lost faith in the Judiciary system. Yes, such instances happened earlier too. No doubt Indian judiciary needs a thorough overhauling.
