rambabu replied to the topic Education vs Religion.
The very purpose of education is to get Bread and butter, besides the knowledge to stay in the race especially in these days of Digitization. Though religion is also is needed, for spiritual awakening, it must be always kept in such a place, where there is no possibility of obstruction in providing knowledge and a livelihood.

The government schools are free for poor people and in fact for most people and even when fees are charged it is a very nominal amount. However, many schools have no proper infra structure and even basic amenities thanks to our politicians who show expenses on paper and swallow the funds. But to say quality is poor is wrong since the teachers try their level best inspite of these short comings and the curicculum is the same for all educational institutions. If only the state governments compensate the teachers well, they may become motivated to give out their best.

Definitely so, now that the bill has been passed it still has not meted out justice to the most violent criminal simply because he was a couple of months younger at the time of conviction and now he cannot be convicted again ! If the bill had been passed earlier, probably he could have been held in captivity for some more time...the opposition party is to be fully blamed for this !

Entering into worshiping places like temples, churches and mosques etc are free and no need of paying money for worshiping our favorite Gods and Goddesses. Everybody can enter at any time and worship the God according to their interest. But in educational institution, it is not possible. Students have to pay money for getting quality education. It is not possible for all the children in our country because of so many of them are under poverty-line and struggling to get their daily food. The parents of these children do not have enough money to spend for their children's education. I think that in some states, some government institutions provide free education for the students. But the quality of education is very poor. Therefore, these children cannot get good job because there are number of high qualified students are around them. Struggling with talented students are not easy for the children of the poor people. If the government is ready to give free and quality education to the poor, we can uplift the present condition of these people.

Jincy Aby replied to the topic A healthy mind and body is possible..
Our body and mind are very closely related. If we are mentally depressed, it will affect our body also. Certain kinds of headache and stomachache are as a result of mental depression. We cannot cure these diseases with medicines if we are suffering from stress. The best medicines for curing these diseases are to lead a stress free life. Sound sleep, regular exercises, yoga practice, proper rest, spend time for interesting hobbies like gardening, watching TV, flower making and so on, intake of healthy food in time etc are some of the ways to get reduce stress from life. Hearing music is one of the best medicines to lead a happy life. There is an ancient adage 'a sound mind in a sound body' - but today's busy life, very few people can claim that privilege. Our health is our wealth. So never try to destroy it. We can see a healthy mind in a healthy body, if we are physically and mentally all right.

Hope is there as Rajya Sabha is likely to pass the strict punishment bill. If not then yes it will be a big let down.
