I will answer each of you separately and give you a reason why I asked this question. I always tell them politely in the beginning but if they do not listen to my reasonable suggestion. I agree with them and then do as they want me to do.

It is different within the family and personally I show the required respect that is due to elders even if I may not agree with their point of view all the time ! It saves a lot of ill feeling by simply nodding your head to what they say and do what you think is the best for you ... At work place you have to respect the seniors and the heads , so there are no two ways about it although you may have a difference of opinion some time , it is best to do it as politely as possible !

True Usha, the list is just made from the viewpoint of the author what she liked best from each state. It will change according to a person's own taste and preference. Each state in India has its own fare which varies from village to village, district to district. Similar to Karnataka, Maharashtra too has very very different dishes from place to place, West Maharashtra cuisine is very different from the coastal belt and Central Maharashtra. People close to coastal areas make more use of dried and fresh coconut, as we go inwards towards Deccan plateaus, more peanuts and sesame seeds are used. Taste too differs a lot! So on and so forth.

Correct. Instead of three years, minor can be confined for ten years. still there will be no death penalty.
It's in the discussion stage in the Rajya Sabha. For any amendments,it will be known after discussions only. But remember The victims' parents are satisfied with the new bill. Death sentence is ruled out.
The bill is not for the satisfication of one parents of victims. It is to check these type of evils. In 3 day ago one person in one small town adjoining to my city rape and murder one 6 year girl.
I agree. Its not related to one individual case. But it sets a trend and check such evils of Rape and murder by Juveniles.

yes in personal life their instructions are very useful. Our elders are our true well wishers. But it is not true for professional life if our elders are not from our profession.
Elders have that much of discretion not to interfere in the matters with which they are not conversant. Such elders simply say, " You know better " and make way to you. They are not dogmatic.

rambabu said thank you to MG Singh for his/her reply to the topic Who is responsible for the plane crash at Delhi airport?.
This topic interests me immensely as I loggeed over 5000 flying ours on the slowest( HT-24) to the fastest MIG 27 aircraft. A study was carried out( while in service) and it was found that unlike the armed forces where there is no reservation , the BSF has 49% reservation on caste, leading to some poor material being inducted. This is also in the flying cadre.
Though it is too early to comment on this specific case, yet the fact remains that 90% of the crash take place due to pilot error( lack of flying skill) and poor engineering maintenance. We had submitted report on this to DGCA. But as it is politically hot, it was brushed aside.
Even in the armed forces perhaps not known to many, teh Government is insisting on a proportional representation in Air Force in ground crew, resulting in 45% of the vacancies being filled from Bihar and UP. It happens that a man with a lower IQ from Bihar gets selected and a higher IQ man from Goa may not make the grade. All this is dangerous and now I am glad I am out and on a lucrative job, but somebody ( a great man) must clear the mess.
Incidentally an aircraft aftre upgradation has a life of 50-70 years. I have flown while in USA a DC-3 of WWII which was over 60 years old Handled beautifully. The clue is engineering mainenance which is poor in India and worse in BSF and para military.
I am saddened by this loss, and I hope we have a French revolution like in 1789 and this filth of Congress as well as BJP is thrown in Bay of Bengal or Arabian sea,a choice of the sea can be given to these two political hulks.

Very informative and thought provoking response from an experienced Flyer like you. I agree, none can be a better judge than a person like you. Not knowing the intricacies involved, Common man jumps to conclusions. In all, I feel the culprit is " Reservations". The outcome of these Reservations is misfits are entering the vital spheres like Army that protects the Country.
These evils are very well known to the Congress or BJP or any other politician. Despite this these political parties do not want to remove Reservations. All these Parties are interested in Vote Banks so that they can be in Power.

rambabu replied to the topic Are you a Self-Starter ?.
Self Starters are those who start their jobs related to their organizations or to the Society without waiting for others opinions. In this process if he faces any failures, he takes the responsibility on his shoulders. Self starters are in general are optimists who believe in delivering the goods. These people make their plans necessary from planning to execution.
In my case I wanted to become an accomplished Artist. I brushed away such opinions like, "You don't have the stuff or none of your family members are Artists or, Artists are born " etc. Without waiting for an outside help and with hard work, I made myself and finally got a job in a Public sector Steel plant. The organization too did not take in to consideration if I have a recognized Degree or Diploma from an Art School. Rather my organization sent me for training in reputed Art Schools.
All along this, I fought with odds and became an Artist without help from any outside sources.

rambabu replied to the topic Why do people save all their lives?.
Why only Medical expenses ? Everything ranging from daily necessities to electricity to property taxes are fluctuating. To handle All these ever fluctuating costs one has to think and make necessary plans. This can be achieved only through simple living. Only through expending on most necessary things and avoiding unnecessary luxuries. This attitude injects the quality of saving in our children. And they in turn pass on to their children.

Shampa Sadhya replied to the topic Why do people save all their lives?.
Nowadays, medical expenditure is very high so it's better to save more and more for medical purpose as well as no one knows about one's future. So, it's better to remain prepared for a strong future to face any kind of emergency. It is okay to enjoy the present but without thinking about the future is a sign of ignorance. Who will think about our children more than us? So, if possible then one must try to save for their children because any untoward incident may ruin their lives. By saying this, I am not in favour of savings only and forsaking all our monetary expenses but one has to be very logical.
