Blue star was Indira Gandhi's big blunder. Sant Bhindranwale was earlier propped by her as a counterpoise to the Akalis, but he turned renegade.
In any case there was no case to send the army in. I have first hand account about this and will not say anything further.

Urdu is refined language and learning it is no harm. it is not the language of Muslims, which is Arabic.

I agree, the Gandhi- Nehru family led India to doom. Nehru allowed China to have a free hand in Tibet, lost 30000 sq miles in Ladakh and created the Kashmir problem. His ills are so many that they are difficult to count.

My bad luck if my side of the facts sound disjointed. But I have been hearing for long time that we have freedom of expression in this country. By the way I have disconnected from all my so-called friends from my FB account that were calling names to the boy who was mastermind behind all this in JNU.

One fact that clearly stands out is that Nehru had a big hand in the partition of India. Read " the last days of the British raj" by Leonard Mosley and also the book by jaswant Singh. Nehru in his obsession to be the prime minister persuaded Gandhi to agree to partition , other wise in a united India, Gandhi had also agreed that Jinnah will be PM.

@Vijai let's discuss facts, and the facts are weird than fictions some times. When the discussion begins it goes right and left or up and down espcially when the nation is on the stake.

you are living much far away from Punjab, it is fact congress promote Bhindrwala to cope with Akali, and it second fact that Bhindrawala wants separated from India with help of Pakistan. Blue star operation was compulsion.
I dont need to live in Amritsar or anywhere close to it get the news since it is available on the net...you too can get more news through this link and will realise that excesses were committed which cost Indira gandhi's life !

Ironically, There is also a bitch temple nearby Jhansi region (U.P.) that I mentioned in another thread. There is also a temple recently made for Dadua bandit in Mathura District. So this is not an issue. As regards pornography, even MLA including those of ruling party have been found watching porn in state assembly itself. These are bad but do not constitute sedition, which is being alleged so forcefully. any way, the accused have surrendered before police. So let us wait. It is also well known that most of the evidence supporting allegation of sedition is in shape of doctored videos. Ultimately truth will come to surface during judicial process. So let us wait.
From where did you get the idea that Mahishasura is a diety , he is a asura which means a demon and evil force, please get your facts right before jumping in to defend all the wrong doings by your favorite party leaders ..
No benefit to say any thing, for some persons Hindu and Hindu religion all are rubbish one, other religions are bona fide.
