If what you have assumed is true then I feel the common people of India have nothing more to say and expect. Writing a blog with selfish motive and spreading wrong message is a sign of sick mentality. This will impact our nation negatively.

@ Gulshan Kumaji, why give this incident a communal cover? It is a simple law and order problem. We in India like Rahul make mountains of mole hills.
Saffron flag as well as extreme Hindutva right wing organization is involved. This is not a simple individual law breaking issue. This was organized activity. Nobody is making mountains out of mole hills. But the saffron elements expect that their organized lawlessness and rank communal activities be considered trifling.
I did not read a similar response from you when hundreds of Muslims hoodlums assaulted and harassed a handful of policemen and women in Mumbai in retaliation for riots in Assam. I did not read a single line from you stating it was green terrorism even though those hoodlums were crying antinational slogans and also razed down Hutatma Smarak which was raised in the memory of our soldiers. Why do you so blatantly indulge in name calling when there Hindus involved. Agreed that this horrible incident should not have happened and is a blotter on the entire Hindu as well as Indian community and a matter of shame, but believe me when I say that t was a deed carried out by a certain lot who is sponsored by congress and other Hindu nationals.
I don't remember about the incident in Mumbai. I also don't know if anyone else included that event in Boddunan discussion. I am not a professional news reporter or commentator and so it is no use telling me why I wrote about some incident and not other. Many news items just slip. Please check if there was ever a thread on the said Mumbai incident in Boddunan and whether I was then a member on this site.

Funny to know that in a democratic country, you may fabricate videos. This is offence under I.P.C. and amounts to fraud. I hope some one will say that in a democratic country, theft, murder, rape are also allowed.

It sounds good but won't be practical because a huge percentage of people are not very comfortable in English especially while writing the technical words. They can express it very conveniently in Hindi or in their mother tongue. It will further create confusion if English is made mandatory for official use in India.
The use of English words for technical and professional terms will bring uniformity and avoid chaos. As regards convenience, most English words are more convenient. These need not be translated. I don't feel that it is necessary to translate words like 'affidavit', 'university', 'gravitation' These words can be adopted in all languages. I remember an incident. Somebody wanted to reach university. He told the auto driver that he wanted to go to Vishwavidyalaya. But auto driver could not understand. He also asked others but nobody helped. Incidentally, he again said that he wanted to go to university. The auto driver said- okay sir, You should have told earlier in plain Hindi that you want to go to university'. For many, 'university' is Hindi and 'vishwavidalya' some thing unknown or foreign.
The best way is to use Roman script for all languages and adopt technical/ professional terms of English. This will be most convenient.

Prashant Bushan is like the shifting wind who changes opinion at the drop of a hat and I have seen this happen many times ....However, he is a citizen of this country and at best doing what other politicians are doing so no point in calling him a traitor and insulting him ! He has a right to his opinion and it is for the people of this country to either agree , disagree or ignore him..

Developed countries like the European cpuntries and Japan have realised the importance of preserving their identity whether it is culture, customs, traditions or language. But for some in India in their new found psuedo modernism , want to disown everything that is unique to this country including its rich language heritage.I wonder if there is another country in the world that has so many different languages and dialects ..
