Nice article Ushaji.. Rightly said in the article that Cancer is the biggest killer, not only in UK but all over the world. The worst thing with cancer is that it does not show or very rarely shows any signs until the cancer has widespread. Most of us neglect the early warning signs of cancer, hence we land up in major problem.  I think cancer is preventable if we routinely get our physical check up done and eat healthy, non hybrid food. Some genetic related cancer though not preventable but most of the cancers are preventable.

No matter how much information we have, it is still not enough where Cancer is concerned..In this article early symptoms that can lead to cancer has been discussed by the author, quite a helpful article ! Many a times we tend to pass of certain symptom is normal wear and tear of the body or as infection, which may not be the case  http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/home/science/Cancer-The-signs-and-symptoms-of-the-UKs-most-common-forms-of-the-disease/articleshow/51265371.cms?utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=TOI

There are different view points ...My uncle has kidney problem and also has heart problem which makes his condition very sensitive and his doctor has advised him to take a glass of beer every evening after his dinner but no other liquor. He feels much better after he started taking this limited quantity of beer for almost a year or longer now..So there is no final say in the matter ! it very much depends on the individual !

Smoking and drinking are habit forming vices which eventually deplete the body resources. Good you have given alcohol and are enjoying the difference.

But now they became one of the strongest political party in our country. If they become more powerful, the condition of the people in other religions will be critical. Modi madly believe in mythology and try to divide the country on the basis of religion - the people who believe in Hinduism in one group and the people of other religions in the other group.      Before blindly going by the opposition view of BJP and Mr Modi which is mostly for political gains, I advise you to go through this link which Kalyani has provided with and let us know what your opinion is, does it matter to you ? and more importantly can you think of Hindus ever doing the same thing to the minorities? Modi is a very fair leader so stop spreading such malicious rumors about a leader who is committed to working for the nation , not one community ! https://themuslimissue.wordpress.com/2015/08/31/islamic-invasion-of-india-the-greatest-genocide-in-history/

The ruling ideology is trying to spread its tentacles in all fields including education institutes and JNU is a prize catch. Foul play cannot be ruled out to malign left wing students. I also agree that anti Indian slogan raisers should be punished but let us not draw biased conclusions till matter is more clear.   Example of US students agitation against Vietnam war is not a relevant example here, for your information it was the America that had launched a long, destructive war against the tiny country of Vietnam, which the US students who, tried and disgusted of losing their brothers, fathers and those who did come back alive were mental wrecks, thanks to Agent Orange, that they no longer related with their families. What is happening at JNU is that the students are supporting a country which has been thirsting for our blood right from its formation. So do not compare the two events, understand the difference between them first. The example of US was given in a particular context to a member's observation. You are butting in and extending it totally out of context. Your observations are not relevant in the context the original reference was made. Better luck next time.

Although I do wonder if they did discover that the keys were not handed over, why didn't they simply break the box and retrieve them? Lack of oversight, probably! True Kalyani, in hind sight one can see how things could have been different if only.... I guess that is what is called destiny , fate or whatever else ! I personally can quote so many small incidents where I went against my intuition and faced the consequences, at times you simply cannot decide which is the right course of action especially when there are too many opinions thrust on you !

If the number of children are more than two, it is very difficult for parents to manage them. The new generation couples with high income also are not ready to take risk by giving birth to more children because they would like to enjoy their life. Now the people are educated and so they know very well about the birth control methods. Members of each health center is very active to educate people about the difficulties of increasing number of children. The population rate of our country is reduced recently because of these reasons.  What you are saying with respect to low income families is quite wrong, of course there are exceptions here also. But look around you, beggars and homeless people on the streets, people living in slums etc. families in rural areas, the equation works very differently for these people. in their case, it is not the more the mouths the less to feed, but it is the more the pair of hands in the family, the more income that can be earned. Children are not sent to schools but sent to work and labour at various jobs for more money. Actually I forget about the poorest section of our society. Most of them are under poverty line because of their laziness. There are opportunities here for them to lead a decent life. But they are not ready to do hard work. For them, begging is the easiest way to make money. They spend money only for food. They do not send their children to school, they sleep in public places, they cannot buy land or home with the money that they earn through begging.(exception in the case of professional beggars - they are earning more money than a government employees)  Then why do they want more children to earn more income? I am surprised that an educated lady like you can term such people as lazy, there are lazy people in all strata of the society, but the reason these people are on the streets and begging is not just because of their laziness. there are many contributing factors to it. And do you think that they like or enjoy begging and sleeping, spending their lives on the streets??? I am astonished at such an insensitive approach to such an issue! Some people are engaged in begging because of health issues. Their body is not fit for doing difficult work. Therefore, begging is the only way in front of them to live. But if you watch some beggars carefully, you can understand that their laziness is the main reason for involving in such activities. I know some beggars personally who often come into my home for money. That is the reason why I put this statement here.

Branding leftist as Hindu haters is not proper and shows ignorance/ Similarly branding rightists as champions of Hinduism is equally a wrong assumption/ These terms have nothing to do with religion. They indicate an attitude to society and its continuing evolution. Associating everything with religion is unnecessary and smacks of a preconcieved wrong notions and some agenda.

Just give up drink and feel the difference. Personally I stopped drinking alcoholic drink about two years ago. I feel better and healthy. However, this was not deliberate. This just happened. Here I am reproducing a link on 'one year no  beer '.  This supports my experience.  https://in.news.yahoo.com/one-year-no-beer-what-actually-happens-to-your-102327619.html

Drinking alcohol is not good for our heath. It may lead to many serious diseases. Too much drinking of alcohol will lead to liver and kidney damage. People who drink alcohol want more food than the non-drinking people. It will increase their body weight and will lead to obesity and heart diseases. Therefore, stay away from alcohol to lead a better and quality life.
